Lucy's pov

I sighed deeply as I washed my hands in the guild bathroom. This was the second time today that I have thrown up. It's been a couple of days since I had my convo with Silver and Loke. I have tried several times now to tell Gray and every time I get close I chicken out. Today is the day though I am determined to tell the man I love that I am pregnant with his child...our child. I placed my hand over my small belly and smiled as I began to walk out of the bathroom. I began fiddling with my fingers as I began to hear Gray's voice among the others

Levy: there she is

Lucy: yea just headed to us the restroom

Lisanna: so Lucy the boys were just talking about going on another job...what do you think we should go this time

Lucy: um well I'm not sure you know me I'm not really all about violence

Natsu: no violence just fun times (smiling)

Gray stood up and walked closed to me

Gray; you don't have too if you don't want too Lucy

Happy: I found the perfect job look!

He flew over to us and handed the paper to Lisanna

Happy: not too much violence

She began to read the paper

Lisanna; in need of skilled wizards

She flipped the paper over and there was nothing else

Natsu; that's it?

Gray: is there a reward

Lisanna; it doesn't say just says in need of skilled wizards

Natsu: sounds boring

Lisanna: sounds perfect. We need something simple this is something perfect for Lucy's first real job it will be fun because we are completing it together duh

Natsu: (smiling) you're right beautiful we should start slow for Lucy to get used to the feel of working these kinds of jobs

Lisanna: exactly (smiling)

Gray: what do you think?

What do I think...I looked down at my stomach for a moment as I pondered my response I soon lifted my head with a smile on my face

Lucy: I think we should do it, but Gray do you mind if I speak to you for a moment in private

Gray: (confused) sure

We headed out and sat down in the garden across from the pool. This was it my hands began to sweat I'm really going to tell him that I'm...that we are having a baby

Gray: Lucy if you really don't want to do this job we don't have too

Lucy: that's not it gray...

I took a deep breathe in and began to fumble my fingers around

Gray: is something wrong Lucy? I've noticed that you have been acting really strange the past couple of weeks is there something on your mind

I wanted to speak so bad but it was as if something was caught in my throat...and honestly something was caught in there...fear

Lucy: (nervous) well I...

I could suddenly feel tears swelling in my eyes my hormones are totally out of whack now a days, but suddenly we were interrupted

Natsu: come on guys let's go the day is getting away from us
