Unexpected Surprise

Lucy's pov:

I sighed deeply and wiped my brow as I set down the last box onto the hard wood floor. I looked around me and of course boxes were all over the place. Moving sucked but it was something that was a good change for me...for us. I smiled as I thought of the word us. Me and Gray of course. I walked over to the front door and shut it, I can't believe that it's been a little over a year since the whole drama with Sting kidnapping me and Hades trying to kill me and Yukino. And since things my life couldn't be better.

Voice: Lucy is that you?

Lucy: (smiling) down here Lisanna

I looked up as I saw Lisanna walking down the staircase holding some books in her hands. She looked like she was moving. She had her short hair pulled into tiny pig tails and also had a bead of sweat at the top of her brow

Lisanna: (smiling) Mira gave me some books for you. She said seeing that you love to read and all

Lucy: I do thank you

She handed me the books and I placed them on the box that had not many but a few books that I had come to acquire while living in Magnolia

Lisanna: you think the guys are going to be mad that we didn't wait for them

Lucy: maybe but I mean we had your brother and Gajeel to help us get most of the heavy stuff here we should be fine

Lisanna: (smiling) you're right, they might even admire us for being proactive

I smiled and sat on the couch letting out a tiny sigh

Lisanna: what's wrong Lucy?

Lucy: (confused) what do you mean?

Lisanna: well I've noticed ever since Natsu and Gray left with the others on a job you have been kind of down

She walked over and sat next to me on the couch

Lucy: oh it's nothing (smiling) I always seem a little worried when he goes on out on a job

Lisanna: they can be dangerous

Lucy: yea, I just hope they come back safe and sound

Lisanna: (smiling) they will...hey I have an idea

I looked at her with a big bright smile on her face

Lucy: what?

Lisanna; we should go on a job with them next time

Lucy: really

Lisanna: well yea you are a member of the guild now and you have only been on one job and that was a baby one

Lucy: well I don't know Lisanna fighting isn't my thing

Lisanna: it isn't always about fighting and if I recall you were kicking Hades ass

I smiled as she continued to convince me to go on a real job with them. Since everything has happen I have become really close to everyone in the guild. Of course I and Levy are still best friends. She was the first person I could really call a friend when I came to this town. But over this past year I have become really close to Natsu and Lisanna. Like really close I'd have to say those two are my other best friends but I'm closer to Natsu than Lisanna. But now that all four of us are living together

Lisanna: I'm sure Gray would love for you to go with us one time

I smiled as I thought about Gray I missed him so much as I was about to respond I suddenly began to yawn
