Dinner with a plot

“Come here hurry up we don't have all day” Zendaya said as she was waiting in the car.

“If you would be a little patient none of it would be happening” Tom said while running to the car.

They were both heading to a dinner reservations that Tom made since he didn't manage to surprise her for Valentine's Day.

“If you would fly in earlier like we talk we wouldn't be here, instead you were busy doing 'things' ” Zendaya said as she look out the window imagining how their relationship was going downhill.

“I already explained for the hundredths time I was busy with things and I couldn't manage to book a plane” Tom continued “I promise to do better next time can we just end this conversation here, I don't want it to escalate”.

“Tom” Zendaya asked “Yes Zendaya” Tom answered back. “Why do we always argue isn't it weird how we used to never argue and now it happens everyday.” Zendaya said

“Even though it's abnormally strange but we're still just kids I mean we're only 20 we started it too soon, which is why it is resulting in us always being on different pages.” Tom said while pulling up to the restaurant.

“We're here and I'm not participating in this conversation anymore Z” Tom said while turning of the engine and took his key out of the ignition.

Zendaya just look blank and step out with her head filled with ridiculous thoughts like “What if he doesn't love me anymore” or “Why are we arguing is this a bad sign” or “Should we just break up” or “Should I try talking to him” or “Do I love him”.

“Darling” Tom said causing her to snap out of her ridiculous thoughts.

“Z c'mon just snap out of your thoughts and can you wait at the VIP table inside.”

Z nodded and walk in she saw that it was compact with balloons and pictures of them and some balloon saying “Happy Valentine's Day”.

A/N: Y'all thought Tom was gonna propose right?

When Tom came back they just sat down and order.

After finish ordering Zendaya asked “Tom why did you called me 'Darling” She know it was just a pet name but they haven't call each other that in years.

“I just thought it was cute, but did you find something wrong with it or what” Tom said.

Zendaya continued “No I just haven't heard you called me that in years”

“Well i think it's time i should change it then, what should I call you?” Tom asked.

“I really don't mind but i find 'Darling' is a cute nickname and I kinda like it.” Z stated.

“Well then I'll calm you that from now on, what do you say 'Darling'. Tom stated.

After chatting for another 20 minutes the food arrived and they both digged in. ( Zendaya got the vegetarian burger with a side of Chips and Guacamole, meanwhile Tom got the special Sushi tray that consists of 40 sushi's.

After finishing they both ordered a shared Chocolate pudding. Though Tom devour most of the thing and Zendaya just look at him laughing.

After they finish the meal, Tom paid and left a generous tip.

Halfway through the car ride Zendaya asked “Why aren't you mad after this past week” ( Zendaya was upset and she kept finding more ways to make him pissed by nagging him for the simplest reason)

“I just thought you have your reasoning and there's no point in being mad or upset with you we're together and we're supposed to learn how to compromise and try not to argue" Tom continued “Though I know that there have been times where we're lashing out at each other but I'm trying my best to make it work”

Zendaya just nodded and agreed with his answer, but she still needed the clarification that he still loved her.

Seeing that she was in her thought Tom just calmly put his hand on hers and tick one strand of her hair bak and whispering “ I love you” and giving a little peck on the cheek.

Zendaya was still fluttered and blushing like a tomato while looking out the window.
