Suzune woke up to the sound of people yelling at each other.
Which was great.
She slipped on her jacket and zipped open the tent to find utter chaos.
"- I'm sure as hell not gonna!"
"We weren't asking for your help! You'll help us, right, Hirata-kun?"
Oh my god, these brats were hopeless.
Suzune clapped her hands together to get their attention. Everyone turned to her with dumbfounded faces.
"We'll move the boys tent on the other side of the lake. Everyone cool so far?" All the students slowly nodded their heads. "Great. Now, because of the fact that Hirata can enter both the boy's and girl's tent sections while moving it, we need to add another boy."
"Hirata-kun isn't like that, Horikita." Kei clutched her hands together. Her eyes were red from all the tears she shed onto Suzune's t-shirt.
"I know. But the point still stands; he's a boy. Plus, having two boys will make moving the tent faster and they can watch each other."
"B-but there's no other boy we can trust besides Hirata-kun."
"Nope, there is." Suzune pointed towards the boys. "Ayanokoji has hung out with me quite a bit over the past few months and he hasn't done anything perverted towards any women whatsoever."
Kei looked at the other girls, debating her options. Seeing them nod their heads, she sighed before looking back to Suzune. "Okay, then. Let's do that."
"Cool. I'll also help move the tent for extra security to make sure they don't do anything weird."
"Thank you so much, Horikita-san!" Kushida came bouncing up to her, stars shining in her eyes. "You really are a good leader."
"... Thanks."
(She didn't really know how to respond to that.
She's never been told that before.
Ever.)

Suzune clicked in the last tent peg. She stepped on it for good measure then stood up, dusting the dirt off her knees.
Ayanokoji was staring right at her.
"... What?"
"Why did you pick me?"
"Because you're the one they least suspect along with him." She gestured towards Hirata, who was talking with the girls about something on the other side of the river. Probably asking them to get more fruit for lunch.
Ayanokoji nodded. "True. Though, I recall Karuizawa labelling me as invisible and inoffensive."
"Isn't that what you want?" Now that got him to pause in his tracks. He turned to stare her in the eyes, indifference dangerously plastered on his face. She had to save herself and fast. "You said you liked to stay out of trouble, didn't you? Being seen like that is the easiest way to go about it."
'Good save, Suzune. You get to live another soggy, dreadful day.'
Ibuki came walking up to them, hands shoved in her pockets and frown on her face. "Could I have a minute?"
"Yeah, sure." Suzune turned her full body towards the newcomer. "What's the problem?"
"You guys of class D look like you're having trouble as well..."
Suzune shrugged. "Everyone has their disputes. It just happens to be 10 times worse among bratty teenagers."
"Whatever the reason is, as a girl, I find the theft of a girl's underwear unforgivable."
