On the day of the art show, Katie and Max's sculpture was the talk of the exhibition. It was a stunning piece, a testament to their shared creativity and passion. As they stood next to it, basking in the glow of their success, Katie knew that she had fallen in love with Max. And as she looked at him, she saw a look in his eyes that told her he felt the same way.
After the art show, Max and Katie walked back to their dorm room together. The air was cool and crisp, and the stars were shining bright in the sky. They walked in silence for a few minutes before Max stopped and turned to face her.
"Katie," he said, taking her hands in his. "I know this might sound crazy, but I think I'm falling in love with you."
Katie's heart skipped a beat. She had been waiting to hear those words for what felt like an eternity.
"I think I'm falling in love with you too," she whispered.
Max's face broke into a huge smile, and he pulled her into a tight hug. They stood there for a few minutes, wrapped up in each other's arms, before Max pulled back and leaned in for a kiss.
Katie felt fireworks go off in her head as their lips met. It was a soft, gentle kiss, but it was filled with all the love and passion they'd been feeling for each other.
As they parted, Max grinned at her. "I know this might be a bit fast, but I want to be with you, Katie. Will you be my girlfriend?"
Katie's heart swelled with happiness. She had been hoping Max would ask her to be his girlfriend for weeks now. "Yes," she said, beaming at him. "I'd love that."
Max took her hand and they continued walking back to their dorm room, talking and laughing the whole way. Katie felt like she was walking on air. She had never felt so happy and fulfilled before.
As they reached the door to their room, Max turned to her and took both her hands in his. "Katie, I just want you to know that I care about you more than anything. You make me so happy, and I can't imagine my life without you."
Katie felt her eyes fill with tears. She had never felt so loved and appreciated before. "I care about you too, Max," she said. "You make me so happy too."
They shared one last kiss before heading into their dorm room. As Katie crawled into bed that night, she felt like the luckiest girl in the world. She had found love, and it was better than anything she could have ever imagined.
