Be Obedient To his Voice

If you are one of the persons that the Lord speaks to verbally, you will tend to be resistant at the sound of his voice at times.
The Lord loves when we are obedient that's why he told us specifically in Ephesians to obey our parents, because our parents are the head of us. It is same case with our heavenly Father, he wants us to be obedient to him because he is our heavenly father and the head above the church. When you are disobedient and your earthly parents disciplines you, so does your heavenly father as well.

Do you remember in the book of Kings when King Saul was disobedient to the word of God spoken by Prophet Samuel that when he goes over to the land take nothing and he was disobedient and brought back stuff from the Land. Later then an spirit was sent from God to be upon him. Every time the spirit would come on him he would get angry and would want to slay David and David would have to play the harp to calm him and at times run. That was his reward due to disobedience.

Be humble and obedient to the voice of the Lord.
