AU explanation!
okay basically its a modern au, everyone knows everyone and most of them are friends with each other. Kyoko sees Chiaki as her little sister and treats her as if shes one! hc that izuru, maki, and celeste are siblings (?) but anyway itll make more sense as the story continues!

Chiaki walked through the school halls looking for her boyfriend, Nagito. They always meet up after each class since he tends to walk her to class..but hes gotten more distant? Chiaki went through every hallway, and soon she turned the corner. was that..Nagito with another girl? He was looking at her with lust in his eyes, it was clear he was in love too. Nagito turned his head and soon made eye contact with chiaki. "Chiaki i-" "save it.." Chiaki said running off to her next class. Thankfully, her friends were in that class. She sat at her desk and put her head down. "CHIAKI I GOT THE NEW— ..Chi-?" Sonia said looking at the poor girl, you could hear her sobs get more intense. Kyoko ran over to her sister and hugged her. "who did this." Celeste said with a stern voice. She was the more..how do i say this? menacing one of the friend group? violent even.. She hurts anyone who hurts her friends, especially when someone hurts Chiaki. "..Nagito..." Chiaki quietly mumbled. Kyoko hugged her tighter as she gave Celeste a signal to go after him before the next class starts. Celeste ran to Nagitos class. "YOU BASTARD!" The gambler said shoving Nagito to the wall in a very violent manner. Luckily Celeste's family was the head of the school, so once the teacher contacted Izuru for help he immediately ran to the class. He grabbed Celeste and pulled her backwards. Maki headed in to help him with Celeste. "what is the meaning of this?!" Izuru said in a stern voice. "YOU CHEATER! YOU LITTLE ASSHOLE YOU HURT HER!" Celeste screamed. Her eyes glowed blood red, terrifying for the other students.
