Enemies since childhood. Everyone got tired of hanging around you two because of your burning hatred for each other. All you would ever talk about is how much your neighbour, Zacky, pisses you off. He always said the same about you. All of your friends stopped talking to you because they all got tired of your constant bickering with Zacky. In your high school years, your friends always told you to "Just fuck him already." and you always got mad at the friends who said that. You never wanted to have sex with him, you hate him. You never felt anything romantic towards him, until you went to college, when you started to miss him. You felt weird for feeling this way, so you tried drinking away your emotions at a party. While at this party, you meet Zina and Luke, who end up being your two best friends for years after that. Problem is, Zina is Zacky's older sister, but you just push that away and just decide to stick with the only two people in the world that will stick with you.

"We're still on for today?" I say into my phone. I am on a group call with my friends. Today, Zina, Luke, and I have planned to hang out at her house, which is also Zacky's. All I have to do is to avoid him at all costs, and I'll be fine.
"Yep, of course. Y'all can come by in about five minutes, how does that sound?" Zina said.
"Sure! See you guys soon!" Luke said. I said, "See you soon!" then we all hung up.
I walked over to her house a few minutes later, and knocked.

I heard the door click open and suspense rose quickly, then dropped when I saw Zina. I sighed in relief. Zina rolled her eyes and chuckled.
"Luke is already here, he's in my room. And don't worry, my brother is in his own room, minding his own business." she said, leading me down the stairs and into her room. I saw Luke sitting on the end of her bed, scrolling on his phone.
"Y/n! Hey, how have you been?" he said, over-excited. He stood up and hugged me. I hugged him back, and replied with, "I've been alright, how about you? How's Mark?"
"Oh god.." Zina said quietly, "here we go again."
Luke ignored Zina, and said, "As you can tell, I've already told Zina.. I have big news."
"Really?" I said, opening my eyes wide to show interest.
"Yes!" he said. He put his hand in front of my face, showing off a ring. "Me and him are engaged!"
"OH MY GOD LUKE! That's amazing!" I exclaimed, examining the ring.
I saw Zina smile then I heard her phone ding.
"Hey, guys, my mom is asking me to get something from the store. How about Luke and I go and get some snacks for later? Y/n, you can stay here and make sure my brothers don't burn the house down." she said. I nodded, then she said, "Thanks, we'll be back soon, ok?"
"Alright, see you guys."
Zacky's POV:
My phone started ringing, and I saw my sister's name with a throwing up emoji beside it. I sighed, rolled my eyes, and hit the green button.
"What?"
"Can you come down to my room for a second? I need help with something." she said.
"Umm.. ok? Why can't you just come up here?"
"It doesn't matter, just get over here." she demanded.
"Fine. Just a second." I sighed, before hanging up.
Zina's POV:
"Fuck yeah! It worked. Now all we have to do is wait out here for a while." I said.
