" don't talk about my wife " Nico said coldly stating them right in the eyes . He had power over people . He could do anything to them . He was capo he was a nightmare to most people . To me ... he was just Nico.
" ok sorry " said the one guy . He had brownish hair brown eyes and he was wearing a red hoodie along with shorts and white socks . " I'm Chris by the way "
" Sofia nice to meet you " I said and we shook hands .
" Alex " said the other guy. He was pretty and he had blonde  hair and blue eyes . He shook  my hand and then kissed  it  " nice to meet you" he said with a smile
" if you touch her again you're dead " Nico said really mad .
" we brought beers they are in the fridge " Chris said
" ok " Nico said going towards the kitchen . I sat on one of his big armchairs
" he likes you a lot " Chris said " he's going wild over her " Alex said winking at me .
Nico came back holding a beer in his hand . " do they annoy you I could kick them out" he said close to my ear " and I smiled
"stand up" he ordered  and I did as he said I stood up .
He sat on the chair I was sitting in
" hey no I was sitting there" I said annoyed
" you still can " he said tapping his lap
" no thanks I'll go to my room " I said and turned around to walk to my room
" no no no no no . You're sitting here " he said with a smirk
" whatever " I said annoyed and sat on his lap
Some time went by and there were beers all over the place and the four of us laughing at stupid jokes Alex made up
I was scared of a drunk Nico some people go over the limits when they drink like my father . But it's fine he's not here right now .
" I think it's time for everyone to go into their rooms or homes " I said seriously
" yeah totally we should leave " Alex said and the three drunk guys erupted into laughter
I got off Nico
" time for bed it's already 12:00 pm " I said trying to convince him
" yes we can go to bed and hug and sleep " he said with a little laugh
" Nico no stop I need to get you to bed you're wasted" I said a little annoyed
" ok star let's go " he said with a lazy smile
" is star my new nickname ? " I said almost  skipping a heartbeat
" mhm " he murmured and my heart fell to my stomach
" we better go"  Chris said with an awkward look on his face
" you should . I want some time with Sofia " Nico said and put a strand of hair behind my ear . Because he had stood up and was so close to me that I felt trapped . Butterflies filled my stomach . I shouldn't feel like that he was not my boyfriend I'm forced to marry him .
" bye " they said as they left quickly afraid of Nico .
"So mr Rodrigues what do you want " I said with a slight smile
" Sofia " he said touching our foreheads
" what Nico " I said looking into his deep eyes trying to find answers in them
" you're beautiful my star " he said and kissed my nose . My heart melted and I really wanted to believe those words but he was drunk . It's drunk words are sober thoughts but in Nicos case they were just drunk words
" come on let's go to bed ok?" I said cupping his checks .
He nodded a small nod but he didn't took his gaze off of me . Because he knew that if he did the next day he wouldn't even remember this conversation.
My thought killed every butterfly and froze my heart . The protective shield which no one broke was almost broken by someone who didn't even really love me .
We went up the stairs slowly so that he wouldn't fall . I opened his bedroom door and I helped him to bed .
" sweet dreams " I said quietly fixing his hair so that they wouldn't fall into his face . I left fast , not even looking back . Because if I turned around or stayed more the protective shield would be broken .
I went to my room later down in a starfish position and just sat there . Thinking about him and how to forget him
