Welcome, to the land of ARC. In this mythical land, there are four kingdoms, each named after an extra deck summoning method [in dueling] and inside their walls, you will find a "small" city that its citizens lovingly call "home". These cities are filled to the brim with life and truly don't feel as small as one might think upon entering (or rather, seeing) the four cities for the first time when entering any of the kingdoms in ARC.

(A good example of these four kingdoms would have to be the "Standard Kingdom" - later to be renamed as the "Pendulum Kingdom" - and its "small" city of "Miami City/Paradise City". When the crown prince of this kingdom first discovered the summoning method of Pendulum, he had decided to change the name of his kingdom to reflect this, and his people were not upset by this new change. Even when a school inside of the Pendulum Kingdom was still teaching the other summoning methods and would soon start teaching the summoning method of Pendulum.)

Now, all four of ARC's kingdoms have someone - known simply as the "Supreme Monarch" - overseeing them, as a way to ensure that everything is going well with the four kingdoms and any other current event within ARC, along with his wife. This responsibility would go on until the firstborn son is close to turning twenty-one years old - the appropriate age for this kind of responsibility -, then every single responsibility [of the Supreme Monarch] will be passed down onto that firstborn son. Should the firstborn son accept this, then a ceremony (that'll officially name him as the brand new Supreme Monarch) will be held on his twenty-first birthday, and it's always been a big deal in the land of ARC. However, if the current Supreme Monarch were to father more than one son, then there is a possibility that one of the other sons can take on the Supreme Monarch duties from either his father or older brother upon this other son turning twenty-one [years old].

But I'm getting ahead of myself here [with that last sentence] ...

Now then, let's talk about the [four] kingdoms of ARC!

First, we have the [previously named] "Standard Kingdom" (later to be renamed as the "Pendulum Kingdom" when the crown prince [of this kingdom] took over at fourteen years old and would introduce Pendulum Summoning to his people during a duel event). As previously mentioned, the "small" city inside the walls of this kingdom is called, "Miami City," but it's also more commonly known as "Paradise City"; however, to all the citizens living in the Pendulum Kingdom, both names work.

One other thing that you should know [about ARC's kingdoms] is that each one will have a dragon mascot to represent each kingdom and its summoning method. For the Pendulum Kingdom, their dragon mascot use to be Odd-Eyes Dragon, but after the crown prince makes his discovery, the mascot for the Pendulum Kingdom becomes Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.

Up next is the "Fusion Kingdom" (which, unfortunately, had lost its crown prince, prior to the events of this series, and even his beloved was banished from her kingdom. Not to worry, though! Both of them will regain control of their kingdom when everything has been resolved at the end [of this series], so don't fret!) Now, when it comes to this kingdom's "small" city inside of its wall ... well, it's just simply called "City," and while it isn't the most creative name, those who live in City don't care and still view it as home. The mascot of this kingdom, despite not having their crown prince for a time, is Starving Venom Fusion Dragon.

Third, we have the "Synchro Kingdom" (which use to be ruled by a man named Jack Atlas; a former Dueling King, just before he would pass on the responsibilities to the current crown prince and his own beloved once the current crown prince turned fourteen. No need to worry, once again! Jack is still living inside of the Synchro Kingdom's walls and helps out). When it comes to this kingdom's "small" city, it's named, "New Domino City," a once-divided city with a rich side (or formerly known as the "Tops") and a poor side (formerly known as the "Commons"). But as soon as the current crown prince took over the duties from Jack, both of these sides would come together and start living in beautiful harmony. (It's been like this for some time now.) The mascot of this kingdom, once the current crown prince took over, is Clear Wing Synchro Dragon.
