<<Hey Muichiro!>>
The boy turned to his friend, Nezuko, who joined him with a big smile on her lips.
<<Listen... do you want to have lunch with me and some of my brother's friends today?>> She asked him.

Muichiro initially didn't know what to think, he was never good at making friends.
<<Uhm, ok...>>
<< Fantastic! Let's go!>>
Nezuko took his hand and the two started walking towards one of the many tables behind the school.

Muichiro and Nezuko had been classmates for a year and were great friends.
She had already introduced him to her brother, Tanjiro, and her boyfriend, Zenitsu. But that didn't change the fact that Muichiro's slight anxiety still kicked in. Nezuko noticed this and slowed down a bit.

<<Hey? You ok?>>
<<Yes... sorry, it's ok.>>
<<Mui, don't worry. Tanjiro and Zenitsu's friends are very nice and make you die of laughter>> the girl confirmed him with conviction.

They arrived at a table where some boys were sitting: there were Tanjiro, Zenitsu, a boy with a half-shaved head, a girl with black pigtails, one with a side ponytail and finally a boy with hair that faded into blue towards the tips. Wait, or was him a girl?

<<Guys!>> Nezuko waved her free hand and dragged Muichiro towards the group with the other.
They smiled at her, Zenitsu leaned in to hug her and glared at Muichiro when he saw that his sweet Nezuko was holding his hand.
He hastily pulled away and took a step back.

Meanwhile the other boys had also joined them and were now observing Muichiro curiously, which made him even more uneasy.
<<Hello Muichiro!>> Tanjiro greeted him.
<<H-Hey...>> He waved his hand in an embarrassed hello.

<<So you're Muichiro?>> asked the girl with the pigtails looking intently up and down at him, but then she smiled and held out her hand:
<<Nice to meet you, my name is Aoi!>> she introduced herself.

The girl with the side ponytail showed up too, her name was Kanao and Muichiro thought she looked really cute.

<<I'm Inosuke! Pleasure!!>> The boy I had previously mistaken for a girl took Muichiro's hand and started shaking it violently.
Aoi slapped him telling him he should be more polite, and he glared at her. Despite everything, Muichiro found the scene quite funny and he had a hard time not bursting out laughing.

<<Excuse him, please...>>
The guy with the half-shaven head smiled apologetically at him.
<<I'm Genya, nice to meet you!>>

He introduced himself without shaking his hand.

Everyone sat at the same table, Muichiro between Aoi and Genya.
Nezuko was right, they were all nice and kind. And, especially Inosuke, they were really funny. Muichiro didn't take long to integrate, and a few minutes later he was already laughing and joking with them.

When it was time to go home, Muichiro gave his phone number to Aoi, Inosuke, Genya, Kanao and, after Nezuko insisted, also to Zenitsu.

After saying goodbye, Muichiro walked towards the bus stop with a strange feeling, like butterflies in his stomach. A beautiful sensation, which made him feel light.
It was probably because he was happy to have new friends.
