Enids pov
Wednesday keeps running away when we go out. It's starting to get on my nerves, especially today as we went to the mall local to my house which is 5 stories high.
"oh finally I found you!" I said going up to somone who looked like Wednesday from behind, not noticing that they were wearing a whole entire different outtfit. I tapped them on the shoulder and when they turned around I screamed. It was not Wednesday. "I am so sorry! I thought you were my girlfriend!" I said waving my arms frantically.
When I finally opened my eyes, was when I noticed the girls panic stricken face. "are you ok?" I asked a face of worry plasterd on my face.
"I lost Mia!" she said her chest moving up and down rather quickly. "What am I gonna do?" She seemed to be talking to herself but I still wanted to help her so I decided I would help steady her breathing.
"Hey, listen to me. Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth 4 times then count from 1 to 5. Ok?" The girl nodded and followed my instructions.
Once her heavy breathing ceased she thanked me and began walking away "Wait!" I yelled gently placing my hand on her wrist.
She turned her head around and raised her eyebrow and I asked her to help me find Wednesday. "sure, but you have to help me find my friend, Mia." I nodded in agreemt "okay lets shake on it." She told me which I got confused about.
"shake on it?"
"Yeah like seal the deal."
"oh ok!" I said shaking her hand excitedly. "I'm enid by the way, nice to meet you!" I introduced myself to her and loosened my grip on her hand.
"I'm Vada." She said walking futher into the mall. "so... What kind of things do your girlfriend like?" Vada asked turning her head to look back at me.
"Knives, murder, books and writing!" I told her casually as if it were no big deal. But vada scrunched up her nose and giggled. "I'm serious!" I said as my face dropped giving Vada a deadpan look.
"oh..." she said turning back around heading for the book store it had the words "waterstones" on it. "This is waterstones. It's a very big book store company so she might be here." I followed her in the store and instinctively gripped her hand and squeezed it softly "Enid?" she said shaking my hand to let me know what I was doing. "sorr-" but I was cut off by a loud shout by the horror section. apparently they sell movies here to.
"OMG YOU LIKE THE STAB SERIES?" I heard somone shout, which led me to investigate as Wednesday was also very fond of the stab movies. Sure enough I found Wednesday talking to some random girl with black hair.
"Wedns!" I yelled dragging her by the arm towards Vada. "This is Vada, she helped me find you. Say hi to the nice girl." I told her but Wednesday didn't have the chance to say anything because the black haired girl came back. And she came back with attitude.
"I was speaking to her!" She said pulling Wednesday away. "Come on Tara!" I shot the girl a glare.
"Her name is Wednesday!" I said grabbing Wedns by the other arm. Then the girl looked at Wednesday dead in the eyes grunted and let go of her.
"oh you're definitely not Tara, my bad." She began walking away but somone interrupted her.
"No stay. I want to hear ypur opinions on the stab movies, if you don't mind." Wednesday told her "I'm Wednesday addams."
"Cool, I'm Amber Freeman. Guess you could say I'm a free-man." the girl said giggling at her own joke.
"well you're a bit cocky aren't you?" I said rolling my eyes at her.
Tara's pov
I was wondering the mall, hoping that Amber would eventually find me. suddenly I felt a hand touch my shoulder. "Vada?" she said. I jumped at the touch and turned around to be faced with a brown haired girl with blonde highlights in her hair. She had a look of worry plastered on her face.
"I don't know who Vada is, sorry." I said turning back around and looking at different posters for my room.
"Sorry you just looked so much like her." the girl continued on turning around on her heel and exiting the shop. 2 seconds later 4 girls came running towards me, I recognised one of them as Amber but the rest were strangers. I noticed 2 of them looked somewhat like me.
"Tara! Don't run off like that ever again!" Amber said roughly grabbing my arm. I didn't take it to heart as she finds it difficult to control her anger. "I swear if we weren't in public I would slap you in the face."
"no you wouldn't." I said looking at her like she was an idiot. "hey, has any of you like lost a friend that gas brown hair with blonde highlights?" I said talking to the people that looked like me.
"yeah I have but loads of girls have that kind of hairstyle." the girl with her hair flowing down said.
"Is your name Vada?" I asked remembering what the girl called me. The girl nodded her head. "Your friend went that way." I said pointing to a jewellery shop.
"ok Tara we helped them lets go!" Amber said pulling me out of the shop.
"Hey wait!" Vada said running after us making amber stop in her tracks "can I get your number Tara? You know since you helped me and stuff."
"ok." I said hesitantly. after I gave vada my number Amber pulled me out of the mall and took me to her house.
"Can we watch stab please?" She asked as soon as we set foot in the door.
"fine." I said taking a seat on her sofa "before your parents get home." I added turning on the tv and handing Amber the remote.
