For once I thought I was alone

Thus I felt safe inside the void

But then I saw it in the dark

And then I ran into the light.

The fear was running through my veins

Like water drops in the torrential rain

I believed myself no more alive

When I saw it crawling into the light.

I cried and battled to escape

But soon I learned it was to late

I tried to fight but it took me up

And when it devoured me I woke up.

I was awoken once again

And found myself inside my bed

But then I saw the open door

And then I knew I was not alone.
