Your P.O.V

I was  coming home early from my trip to surprise Tom. I wanted to tell him but I felt that it would be better for it to be a surprise

My plane landed really late and I was exhausted, but I wanted to make it home for Tom

Every night I tapped the bracelet Tom gave me for our anniversary. He had a matching one so whenever I tapped it twice he would know it meant me saying I love you

I tapped the bracelet twice so he wouldn't get suspicious of anything happening. I waved down a taxi, when I got in I told the taxi driver my address

I told him to leave me in the second house down from our home. I paid the driver and started walking to the house.

I saw the lights on in our bedroom, I just thought he was maybe working on something which meant he was still awake

I quietly opened the door so he wouldn't know someone came in I put my luggage next to the couch.

I could hear faint grunts in our bedroom, I furrowed my eyebrows before walking upstairs. The noises were getting louder but I could hear a female voice now

I looked at the hallway and saw clothes scattered all over the floor two pairs of shoes leading to the bedroom

I already knew what was coming I just.. Didn't wanna believe it. I walked to the bedroom door and cracked the door open

Looking in I saw Tom was on top of a random girl.. I felt tears build up in my eyes as I opened the door more and knocked on the door frame

"Surprise.." Was all I could mumble out as Tom looked over at me a horrified look appearing on his face as he saw me

He quickly got off the girl as she covered herself with the covers as Tom did the same "Baby I swear it's not what it looks like!"

He tried approaching me but I just backed up shaking my head "Really? Not what it looks like?! You were fucking another girl in our bed! Our bed Tom!"

He looked down looking guilty "That's the bed we share Tom! The bed we sleep in every night! The bed you whispered nothing but sweet words when I felt down!"

I didn't realize tears were running down my face as I walked downstairs. He kept following me trying to talk to me "Baby just let me explain!"

He grabbed my wrist making me stop "What how you were fucking railing that girl!" I yanked my arm away from him

I looked at him and saw he had tears in his eyes "I trusted you and you did this.. It's over Tom"

I looked down at the bracelet before looking at his wrist realizing he didn't even have his on

I threw the bracelet at Tom before grabbing my luggage and walking to the door "Goodbye Tom.."

I then walked out, I would have never known about him cheating if I never came home.. I would have lived a lie..
