While luz had to return to the human world amity was bound to the boiling Isles. Distraught by luz's departure amity had to be perfect and stand up to her family name but how with her one true love gone. This was one of amity's problems the fact that she had to be perfect, she just wanted to see luz again.
Eda approached "I'm sorry amity they had to return to the human realm."

Eda clearly tired and not sleeping said"I do I wish no one did but she was one of my own almost."
As amity sobbed eda felt horrible and finally told amity that there was a gift for her from luz. Amity thanked eda inside the gift there was a jumper ring and necklace but a note aswell.
