Lisa's Pov
I woke up because of the machine sound beside me. I opened my eyes and the white ceiling welcomed me. I slowly move my fingers pero masakit. I roamed my eyes.
I'm here again..
Machines and smells I hate. Tanging machine lang ang naririnig ko.
The door opened and revealed my dad who's worriedly looking at me.
“Anak.. your awake” he said. I stared at him with confusing eyes. “Anak saan ang masakit?” he asked. Pero hindi pa ako makapagsalita. “Wait here, I'll call Doctor Lee” He stated at lumabas ng kwarto. Muling naging tahimik ang paligid maliban sa huni ng machine na nakakabit sakin
Bumukas ulit ang pinto. I saw Doctor Lee walking towards my bed. He's holding a folder where his notes are written. Behind him is my dad and Appa who's worriedly looking at me
“How's your feeling Lisa?” Dr. Lee asked . He lift my hand “Do you feel this?” he asked
I only nodded my head in response
“Why she isn't talking?” Appa asked Dr. Lee
“She might be shocked that's why she isn't talking. Wala naman akong nakitang dahilan or problem na magcause ng hindi niya pagsasalita” Dr. Lee explained.
“Dad, maybe effect lang ito ng comatose” Dad added
Comatose??
“She's been in coma for a month kaya ganon. Pero don't worry she will talk kapag nakapag adjust na siya” Dr. Lee answered
A month.?. Ganon katagal akong natulog
“Is she okay now?” Dad asked
“She is fine base on the last test. Wala namang brain damages or anything else. ” Dr. Lee sighed “I'll excuse myself” he said and left the room.
So where I am..
“Anak I'm so worried sayo. You haven't awake for a month. Akala ko mawawala ka din sakin” He dramatically said.
“Nanghina ang katawan mo and dahil sa lakas ng pagpalo sayo mula sa likod mo. That's why you're here. ” Dad explained.
I remembered what happened a month ago.
Nakayukom ang kamay ko when dad hold it and caress it gently
“They're already in jail anak. So please tama na. ” that's when I calm myself. “Your Appa did everything para lang maikulong sila. Wala na silang kawala pa. They will surely root in jail” Dad added.
I look at him and tried to spoke
“D-dad did I d-do it a-again?” nahihirapang tanong ko. His eyes were sad “I'm s-sorry dad” I managed to say it kahit nahihirapan ako.
The monster inside me..
“You're friends are worried sayo. They called every night to check on you. And also Jeongyeon she visits you every weekend ” Dad stated. Kung ganon nasan ako
“W-where a-are w-we?” I asked
“We're here sa New York. ” Dad answered. I sighed and nodded.
“Are you hungry anak?” he asked. I nodded. He went out for a while and came back with a tray on his hand. He helped me para makaupo ng maayos. He also feed me since I can't move pa ng maayos.

It's been a week since I woke up. Umayos narin ang katawan ko. I can control my anger narin thanks sa gamot I guess. Dad aren't here dahil may business meeting pa siya.
“Hey" Jeongyeon greeted pagpasok niya ng kwarto. She's here dahil week end. She visits me again but this time gising na ako. “How are you feeling? ” she asked
“I'm fine, I guess but still ill” I sadly said
”Your not Lis. Kailangan lang ng meds. And you will be fine” she assured me. But I sighed.
“Yeah, I have no choice Jeongyeon. " I answered her ”Aren't it hassle sayo. Your always here every week end instead of resting na lang sa bahay niyo" I seriously said
“Hindi naman hassle. Besides I get to check on you nga eh. " she reason out.
“How about your studies?” I asked
“It's fine. I cam handle it. ” She giggled.
“They're worried sayo, lalo na si Chu. She keep asking kong kamusta ka na. They want to visit you here pero hindi naman pwede. Family lang ang pwede.” she stated
“How are they?” I asked sadly referring to my friends
“Ayos naman, nakakapanibago lang. Wala ka. ” she answered. “After this? Your going back to Thailand?” she asked back
I simply nodded my head sa kanya.
“I understand. ” she added “I'll explain to them na lang. Pero tumawag ka parin sa kanila huh. They're worried sayo”
“I will bago ako umuwi ng Thailand alam mo naman forbid na gumamit ako ng gadget dito” I answered. She nodded and smile after
“Did they know about my illness?” I asked. She sighed and nodded. ”Are they afraid of me?” I asked again.
“Hindi, actually they're really worried sayo. But I explained naman. They understand kaya you don't need to worry. Mahal ka nong mga yon. Ikaw pa ba ” she smiled at me assuring me na totoo yon.
“How about Jennie did she know too?” I asked again.
“Actually, we haven't seen her for a weeks now. Jisoo didn't know where she is. We can't even seen her brother. Ang sabi naman ng iba they're out of the country na” Jeongyeon stated.
Umalis din siya..
“So she knows about my condition?”
“Walang ibang may alam Lis. It's just the two. And I told them naman na they keep it" she explained.
I nodded at her. Hindi na ako nagtanong pa sa kanya. Kusa na lang siyang nagkwento about sa nangyari a month ago.
Hindi ki alam kung anong mararamdaman ko. I'm getting better naman pero yung sakit na yon it's still here. The monster inside me. Still here.
