1. Guess who's back

Hi y'all, enjoy reading the first chapter of 'Would You Love Me Now?', I'm very excited!!

I know HSMTMTS is filmed in Salt Lake City, but in this story it's filmed LA. :)

POV: VALERIE

"Jesus Christ Valerie Felicia Hudson you're gonna be late!" My best friend May told me in a slightly irritated voice. She kept her eyes on the tv, watching Outer Banks for the third time.

"I know but I can't find it anywhere, have you seen it?" I asked her while pacing through our apartment, which was still full of boxes since we moved here only one week ago. That was probably also the reason why I couldn't find my phone.

"Girl you're such a mess, have you looked in-"

"Found it!" I said while interrupting her sentence, grabbing my phone which was laying on top of one of the boxes.

May was the most amazing best friend I could have ever wished for. This girl moved all the way from Miami to LA with me, so I could keep chasing my dreams as an actress.

I mean, upcoming actress.

This lead role in the new Disney+ show called High School Musical: The Musical: The Series was a very big deal for me, since it was the biggest role I've booked so far. I'm so grateful my best friend is right by my side to support me here.

The main reason I'm very grateful for that is because my last time in LA, which was about one year ago, wasn't what I expected at all.

Don't get me wrong, I had lots of fun. Getting to spend 4 months in Los Angeles while filming for a Netflix show was what I've always dreamed of.

Just the fact that I fell in love with a boy on this trip and got my heart broken right before I left, sucked.

Guess it was all too good to be true.

I grabbed my keys and headed outside to the cabrio we rented. I'm planning on buying my own car, but just after all the moving chaos.

It was time to meet the whole cast of HSMTMTS. I was so excited but also slightly nervous. I'm gonna spend the upcoming months filming with these people, I wanted to make a good first impression.

I sat in my car for a couple of minutes before I had to leave. I opened Instagram and saw my followers were at 23,7k now, which brought a slight smile to my face.

It sounds dramatic, but I love the fact that people want to stay updated with your life and see what you're up to.

I quickly checked the story I posted yesterday evening before putting the address in google maps.

It was only a 10 minute drive to the meeting. I'm glad our apartment has such a good location, unlike last year in LA. Back then, my apartment was located in Pasadena, which meant I had to drive 35 minutes every morning.

Well, not every morning.

I frequently spend the night at this boys house, who lived much closer to the set.

You know, the boy who I fell in love with, but also the one who broke my heart.

However, that whole situation was something- or someone I promised myself to forget a long time ago.

I haven't really kept my promise this past week though. I've kept wondering what I was gonna do if I ever saw him here, back in LA again, after all this time.
