Mark's POV:

I rushed out the door, holding my skateboard with my right hand, constantly looking at my watch on the other as I rode down the street.

"That stupid Jackson!" I yelled in frustration. If only he didn't convince me into playing video games with him last night... I swear, he's dead when I see him!

I suddenly got a call from Jackson, my friend.

"Huh, speaking of the devil." I grunted, as I held the phone up to my ear.

"Ya, I'm going to kill you!" I yelled through the phone. I heard him laugh, it sounded more like an evil cackle to me.

"Tsk. Hyung, it isn't my fault that you agreed to play! Just hurry up before Mr. King Kong comes!" I raised an eyebrow as I ran through the huge gateway of Rockwood High.

"Mr. who?" I asked, placing my skateboard in the bike shed.

"Hyung, are you actually trying to be late on your first day? Just stop asking questions and go through the gymnasium, it's a quick shortcut. Be careful not to get caught, see you soon!"

I scoffed and stuffed my phone in my pocket. This guy is seriously unbelievable... I spotted a couple students wearing sports uniform and sneaked behind them into the gymnasium.

I gasped in awe, their gym was really big. There were two large courts, people were playing badminton on one court and basketball on the other.

A sudden roaring voice made me freeze.

"Ya, you! Are you another latecomer?!"

My eyes widened as I began to run, tugging on my bag strap so it wouldn't fall. I now understood what Jackson meant he said to not get caught, you'll realise the results are quite frightening when a furious sport coach is chasing you around the gym.

Although I had already exited the gymnasium, I still ran with all my life. I mean, who the heck knows if that crazy man is still chasing me?

All of a sudden, pain rushed to my forehead, making me fall on my butt. I winced as I rubbed my head.

"Omo! I-I'm sorry, are you okay?" Judging by the voice, it was a girl with a soft and soothing voice actually. I blinked two times before looking at her and was left speechless.

She smiled brightly, "Are you okay?" She repeated, I noticed she was holding a badminton racket. I stared at her face. "Wow... You're beautiful..." I mumbled quietly. She curled her eyebrows. "Pardon?" My eyes widened as I got up. "U-Uh, nothing! I-I'm alright! I'm alright!" She chuckled, as I stared at her for longer than I thought because she suddenly cleared her throat. "Uh, aren't you going to class..?" She suddenly asked, making me look at my watch. 8:55?! Oh damn, I'm seriously dead!

"O-Oh! Y-Yes, I'm heading there now..." I stuttered. "I'm really sorry... Uh, I didn't catch your name..?" My eyes widened, "I-It's M-Mark Tuan.." She smiled again, I think I would've fainted if she smiled once more. "Ah, you're not from Korea, I'm guessing..?" I softly nodded and wiped the sweat falling off my forehead, though it wasn't even warm but quite chilly. "Well, welcome to Rockwood High. But, you better get going. You don't want to be late on your first day." I watched her walk off, until she was just a tiny dot in the distance.

Woah... Who is she?

The school bell suddenly rang. "Damn it!" I cursed, running down the school hallway, trying to avoid any teachers. I stood outside my classroom door and saw that the teacher had its back to the students.

I took this as a chance to carefully sneak inside but of course, Jackson had to 'accidentally' let out a snicker. The teacher turned and I immediately knew why they call him 'Mr. King Kong', he was an angry and hairy man. And when I say hairy, I mean really really hairy. For a second, I actually believed that he was wearing a gorilla costume.
