{Author's pov}
Todoroki sat there after class watching Deku immediately going over to Uraraka to talk to her. Just like ever other day these past two months, and just like every other day he laughs and blushes at her, and like every other day Todoroki left, a little bit more heart broken.
'I wish that was me.' *sigh* 'Why can't he just notice me?' Todoroki thought as he arrived at his dorm, once he opened the door and walked inside he started coughing, badly, and again he coughs up the petals of a green rose. (I'm not sure what his favorite flower is but there's official art with him holding green roses, so I'm going with that) 'It's almost a full rose, I guess I'll be dying soon then.' Todoroki thought, sadly smiling while trying to stop his wheezing and catch his breath.
~At night~
Todoroki woke up in a fit of coughing, again, he coughed so much he felt light-headed, so after he stopped coughing he went downstairs to the kitchen to get some water, but almost fell down the stairs from how dizzy and out of breath he was. Once he went back to his room he tried going to sleep, but couldn't because the thought of Deku and Uraraka being together flooded his head. So instead he silently cried for the rest of the night only stopping to cough over and over again.
Todoroki checked the time with puffy, tear-filled eyes -8:00 am- 'School starts in an hour, guess I should get ready' he thought, while getting up to rinse his face in the sink so no one knew he was crying, and then continued to get ready for another day of watching the love of his life choose to hangout with other people instead of him at school, while trying to not break down crying.
~At school~
{Aizawa's pov}
"Alright so does everyone understand?" I said looking around the room only to notice Todoroki sleeping "Tokoyami can you please wake Todoroki up?"
Tokoyami silently nodded, turning behind him to wake Todoroki up. "Why are you sleeping, did you not last night?" I questioned "Oh, sorry sir, I just had trouble falling asleep." He assured with a raspy voice "Okay well see me after class so we can go over this." I said noticing his tired, bloodshot, pain-filled eyes, and almost sickly voice.

{Todoroki/ sad boy's pov}
As everyone was leaving, I saw Midoriya with Uraraka again, and I had to try my absolute best to not break down crying right then and there, but then I snapped out of it when Aizawa Sensei asked "Are you okay?"
"What do you mean?" I said without realizing how much my throat hurts from the coughing. "I mean you look like you haven't slept in days, you look like you were crying, your voice makes you sound sound like you're on the verge of death, and I can tell you're experiencing mental, emotional, and physical pain. You can't hide it from me, but you don't have to tell me as long as you take care of yourself and let me know if it threatens your health."
As he said that I could feel myself go past my breaking point and start crying, possibly harder than I ever have in my life. All of a sudden I felt two arms calmly wrap around me to pull me into a hug, and Aizawa Sensei try and comfort me quietly.
"Alright kid, you should get ready for training, but if you don't think you can do it then you don't have to." He told me while patting my back "I'll be fine, I just had a rough couple of days." I fake smiled to try and assure him while walking away to get ready for training.
{Deku's pov}
I watched as Todoroki and Aizawa Sensei walked into the training room and then I heard Uraraka-san whisper something "Hey Deku-kun *****************************************."
Which made me blush and just as I was about to say something back I heard Sensei yell and say "You know what to do so go and do it already." And after that we all went and trained on our own for a while, but then I heard Todoroki-kun coughing so I went up to him to see if he was okay. "Todoroki-kun are you o-" but before I finished talking I saw his mouth covered in blood and what looked like flowers in his hand, but before I realized what was going on I heard a thud and looked down to see him on the floor.
"Todoroki-kun!?" I shouted definitely getting the attention of the entire class, while immediatly crouching down to check his pulse. And just as Aizawa Sensei got over here I said quietly, but just loud enough for him to hear, "he has no pulse." I started crying and hugging his limp body, Uraraka-san came over and put a hand on my shoulder, "are you okay? I know how much you loved him."
