"Hirota?" Kazumi said almost in a whisper.
'what is he doing here?'
Hirota Tatsuo, he was the libero of Natori back when Kazumi was in middle school.
From what he had heard most of the third years during middle school went to Natori High.
He wasn't expecting to even coincidentally meet anyone from his past.
The team he had worked so hard for never prospered after he left.
While he was busy with his thoughts, Ennoshita tapped his shoulder.
"You good?" Ennoshita said worried about the ruby eyed male's sudden change of expression.
"I am fine" Kazumi said still staring at Hirota in disbelief.
The coaches from both teams were conversing about something which was inaudible to the players.
Hirota, just like Kazumi had changes.
He seemed taller than before and his usual chubby face was more prominent now.

Kazumi wondered how the other were now not like he actually gave a fuck about them.
Just curiosity.
Hirota was the type of person who would show his displeasure openly specially about Kazumi.
Back in middle school, Hirota would constantly bicker with Kazumi about the position 'libero'.
Libero was a position which held the foundation of the team.
But in Hirota's perspective it was also a great position for offense.
Yes, some liberos indeed were offensive types but in a team full of offensive players adding another offensive playstyle wasn't good in any possible way.
Instead it just distorted the overall team's stability.
But Hirota would always shut him down saying 'i am a libero I know how to carry a team better than your theories.'
