Chapter 35

RYLEES POV

Once I saw what had just happened I didn't know what to do. I couldn't cry anymore. I was in 100% shock... And so was Niall.

Nurses began to push us out the door and then I started to flip out in realization that one of my best friends was dead at the moment.

I pushed the nurse and started sprinting down the hallway chasing them into the ER nurses trying to hold me back, they couldn't stop me though.

I kept running as this was a long hall way and I had to take the stairs to the first floor while they took the emergency elevator.

I continued sprinting and sprinting still crying, and screaming.

I couldn't let her die because she saved my life and without her I may not be here, so if she dies for real I don't know what I'll do.

All of these thoughts running trough my head made me dizzy but I kept running, the only sound I could hear was Niall telling me to stop, but even Niall couldn't stop me right now.

I kept running and finally got to the bottom floor and Niall called Zayn and Liam over because those are the 2 that can reason with me most, and Olivia wasn't in the waiting room.

They started chasing after me, Zayn and Liam actually caught up to me because they both ran with me on a weekly basis.

Zayn grabbed me by the waist and threw me over his shoulder but I still wouldn't stop.

I was kicking and scratching and hitting at Zayn, begging him to let me go so I could try to save her.

Then Zayn carried me into the "family bathroom" where boys and girls were allowed.

Liam followed us in there along with Niall, Niall simply waited at the door but Zayn set me on the floor and him and Liam sat next to me.

I began to realize how weak I was but I still couldn't stop, I kept trying even though I KNEW I was going to be too weak to get away from 3 boys all older than me.

I was sobbing and begging them to let me go.

"GUYS! PLEASE JUST LET ME GO!!! I CAN'T LET HER DIE! I NEED TO SEE HER NOW!!!" I screamed while sobbing.

I continued to scream stuff like that but they wouldn't budge.

They both started shushing me and Zayn sat me in his lap and squeezed me tight, while stroking my hair smoothly.

I stopped screaming but continued sobbing.

Liam then leaned over and began to tell me something along the lines of 'everything will be ok, we are at the best hospital in the UK with the most experienced doctors'

I continued to sob into Zayn because that's all I could do

I cried myself to sleep.

CLAIRE'S POV

"I'm so sorry Claire... We just met today and you're all ready in the hospital waiting room waiting for one of my friends..." Louis apologized very sympathetically.

"That's ok Lou." I explained

"Are you sure?" He asked, "I can drive you home and see you tomorrow if you want..."

"It's fine... Really." It really was fine because every second I've been with Louis have been the best of my life, no matter what we were doing...

"Okay..." He said

We both kinda sat there awkwardly looking in separate directions without making eye contact.

Then both of our heads turned to face eachothers at the same time. We made eye contact and next thing I know...
