4. Pandu's Marriage

That's when Mata Ganga came with a baby out which shocked Dhritarashtra and Bhishma while Gandhari seeing his glow could make out who he is.

All- Pranam Mata / pitamahi.
Ganga- May god bless you. Dhritarashtra and Gandhari May your life be filled with happiness.
Dhri- Danyavad pitamahi.
Bhish- Mata who is this child in your hands?
Ganga- He is suryaputra Karna. He was born to a unmarried princess who had a boon from Rishi Durvasa that she can bare a child for 5 different gods. She being a naïve person called the lord of sun to bare a child to prove to her stupid maid that the mantra works.

Bhishma and Dhritarashtra were trying to soak in the information that was given to them. That's when they heard Gandhari say.

Ga- So Mata have you adopted him?
Ganga- No putri I being a goddess can't do so he is not been adopted by the common people.

Mata Ganga was confused as to what Gandhari was trying to do as she being from kaliyug knew what will happen.

Ga- Arya you know that I am from kaliyug right?
Dhri- Yes priye I know that why?
Ga- As per the scriptures that I read about the kuruvansh in kaliyug I got to know that you always wanted a son of god to be your son right?
Dhri- Yes priye but why are you asking this.
Ga- Arya I think we should adopt the son of surya as he is a blessing of god himself.
Bhish- But that will be against the kuru rules.
Ga- But tatshree having a child before marriage was also against the rules of our kul.

Bhishma was tongue tied as he never expected that question to come. He later gave up and asked for Dhritarashtra's option about the adoption.

But Mata Ganga was shocked as Gandhari aka Shakti changed the whole story of the birth of Karna.

Dhri- I agree as it is the wish of my priye.
Ga- pitamahi can we take Karna with us?
Ganga- Yes putri it will be his honour to have such wonderful parents.

Then Gandhari and Dhritarashtra took Karna along with them and later they announced to their praja that Karna is to be known as the eldest kuruvanshi.

Gandhari made Karna fall a sleep and she looked at Dhritarashtra. Now was her time to play the next move of her game. She wanted to save the injustice done to that women so she said to Dhritarashtra.

Ga- Arya don't you feel that Pandu should get married?
Dhri- I feel so but I don't know what will he do.
Ga- I have an idea arya , you know Madraraj shalya has taken an oath to marry his sister to the person who defeats the army of Madra.
Dhri- So you are saying to send Pandu on a war with Madra and he will get married to rajkumari madri if he wins?
Ga- Yes arya as if Madra has stopped their trades with Hastinapur so it will be a win win situation for us.
Dhri- You are right priye I will take about this in the Sabha tomorrow.

The svayamvar of Kunti is still 1 year away so I have successfully defeated Kunti. Now she will know the meaning of being a second wife. Also Pandu and Madri will definitely get pregnant in the span of 1 year so now the fact of Yudhishthir being the first born of Pandu will change.

Next day in the Sabha the case of Madra was put forward and after a long discussion it was decided that Pandu will go and represent Hastinapur.

After few days the news of Pandu being victorious was spread along with the news of his marriage to Rajkumari Madri. Madri was welcomed in the kingdom with lots of love.

Few months passed by and Madri was pregnant with hers and Pandu's child. The bond between them was not breakable. Seeing this Satyavati left to the van as after the entry of Gandhari she had lost her power.

Gandhari had become the most loved royal along with Dhritarashtra , Madri and Pandu. They four had formed and unbreakable bond amongst themselves.
