Suzume

"Weathering with you was such a good movie."
"YN for the final time it's not the 2nd movie it's suzume." Mark sighed and haechan had his cheeks poking out from both side to contain his laugh facing her 2nd hand embarrassment.
"Well, it's not my fault for thinking that way, the movies litrally look similar like that stupid damn door!?" She scoffed making the boys sigh.

"Sorry hyung but I have to agree on that one...my son." Chenle shook his head with a bitter face making mark narrow his eyes at him.
"Dude..am I your hyung or son?"
"Both."

Whist they booked for their movie date they all sat down scrolling through tiktok.
Jaemin was comfortable in his own taking pictures of everyone and yelling at some to pose properly e.g jisung.
Renjun with his tea and a non stop Lee Haechan annoying him earning grunts and groans from the Chinese boy.
Then there was jeno and chenle playing pubg and surprisingly chenle was quiet yet there where silent squeals of when they won and sighs and aggressive movements when they lost.

"Can we go watch the movie now?" Haechan whined getting impatient with all the waiting.
"We still have another 10 minutes." Making him groan and fall onto his seat with the boys shaking their heads at the typical haechan act.
"Did you guys know that hello kitty was actually a story about a human girl with cancer?" YN spoke up making them all turn their phones to her.

"What?"
Seeing their shocked face she nodded her head in response with a faint yeah.
"The true story behind hello kitty is that a Chinese family, the mother had a baby who suffered from the cancer so she called satan to save her child which is why hello kitty has no mouth because of the mouth cancer."
Even though YN knew the story the chills still ran up through her skin everytime.

"What- that is so creepy.." mark started his eyes in disbelief along with renjun's face which was in pain.
"What a way to ruin my childhood show."
"That's just so- so creepy." Jisung shivered fearing the story he just heard making jaemin's smile grow fond at the youngest cuteness.

"I did not know hello kitty had a mouth!" The laugh of chenle had soon started the boys laughed too but they all knew his laugh was scarier than the story itself.

"The sweet thing is because she doesn't have a mouth we as children's are the ones to decided if she is happy, we are the ones to decided that if she is sad then she is also sad making it seem like hello kitty is a friend." Haechan explained making them Let out oooh and awws.

"That's actually really sweet."

"The popcorn is too sweet."
YN whined yet still taking more popcorn then stealing from haechan's side getting disgusted face from him which earned him a punch.
"Why is it not working, we already seen five advertisements already?"
YN rolled her eyes remeerbing how he had bothered them so much about hurrying up inside the cinema to watch it so they don't miss it.

Thanks to that they really didn't miss it, here they were sat waiting for it to start.

"Hyung you're the one who kept forcing us to hurry." Haechan groaned at the Chinese boy's words knowing fully well he did.
"At least we're all together here so let's just enjoy this moment." Jaemin reminded making them agree.

After another long minutes of waiting through the endless advertisement of the weirdest videos of toothbrush suddenly coming to life?
The movie finally started when I tell you they went crazy when the theme of suzume played the whole room went insane.

It was a roller coaster of emotions, theirs eyes full of curiosity of knowing the truth behind the doors.
YN swooning over the main boy earning dirty looks from chenle and mostly haechan and renjun.

Laughing over how the main protagonist gets turned into a chair, leading to them to go to their adventure with a main girl with a main boy who is a well...chair.

Yet they all laughed seeing different characters and their personality of their dynamic which made it funny.

The crazy animation which we had got to see after years if developments which made YN want to meet all the voice actors and thank them for all their hard work to presents everyone such great adventures.

To find love, to save each other from the darkness, to always keep loved ones near you this was how beautiful it really was the movie suzume.

Haechan guessing what would happen every now and then being the detective he always was being right most of the time and not earning smirks from the boys.

Once the movie had ended they stayed to listen to the song.

"Du durururu" they sang in sync then gibberish words to the Japanese lyrics which ended up it endless laughter.

"I can't with you guys." Renjun shook his head leaving the cinema first then the rest of them following.

Of course now it was just them two, mark and YN, they stood next to eachother facing the boys infront of them who were messing around.

A smile of fondness was placed on there faces, they hoped that moments like this never faded away they always wanted to go on many adventures and seek for love with them too.

Being too into the moment YN didn't notice mark had taken a step closer to her and without a word he reached over to place his arms around her.

"You know love, you're like suzume."
A chuckle escaped her mouth from the sudden words.
"Really why is that Mork Lee?" She tilted her head with his eyes sparkling due to the light, was mark flustered by this? Yes, yes he was.

"You- you're um you know ugh-"
Mark suddenly couldn't talk heck he didn't remember what he was about to say.
"I what?"
His cheeks were flustered pink completely and their shy smiles and mark sighed, knowing she was teasing him.

"You're like suzume darling, just like her you pulled me out from the darkness and into the light." He grabbed her hand.

"So..." he paused to lean down to kiss her hand gently.
"Thank you for that."

Now was YN blushing Heck she was but of course the moment wouldn't last long especially if the boys are around of course.

"Hyung can we have mochi ice cream?"
"No."
"Hyung please-"
"no."
"Hyung-"
"I said no."

Silence.
They all stared at eachother awfully long before they lashed out.

"Rock paper scissors!"

Mark had lost.

"Hyung you're paying!" As eveyone began choosing their flavour mark was left dumbfounded.

"Guys wait let's play again?"
"No."
"Come on-"
"No."

So that was how the boys had forced mark to pay and now they were in the bus eating away at the sunset which settled down on them softly.

Fun fact this was actually my experience in the cinema when I came to watch suzume in March 15th everyone said that it wasn't what they expected because they had high Hope's but I loved it maybe it was because I mistook it for weathering with you but either way I still would've loved suzume either way.
