Surprises

Aikyō woke up wondering why she was in a bed instead of at her medical desk she needed to study the information in the books having feeling it would help her soon.She heard a familiar sigh as she shifted to her left side to see Ace under the covers somewhat  he was looking at her smiling.He spoke,

"You shouldn't fall asleep at your desk, it's not good for your back.Marco does it all the time and we all have to hear him complain.You sounded like you were having a bad dream.."

Aikyō couldn't recall what her dream was about,

"W-Where-Wait where are we?"

Aikyō got up out of the bed fast looking at the room not liking how familiar everything was, this house was almost the same house she lived in with her own family.She shuddered looking out the window to see her crew coming up the hill,

"Right.This home was to be a gift for Yuki and Jep so they can have something special for their family."

Ace hummed,

"Gonna start off the day in a bad mood?"

Aikyō tsked,

"You should have left me in the medical room I needed to read those books-"

Ace chuckled,

"Well when I came in there you weren't busy reading you were sleeping.."

Aikyō saw Yuki trying to walk to the door,

"Whatever-Get your ass downstairs."

Ace saw the slight fear in her eyes. This house did look like the one she used to live in on the shore on Dawn Island and he didn't want her alone having to relive the traumatic memory.Ace said,

"I'm not going downstairs until you take a deep breath."

Aikyō admitted,

"I'm worried about Yuki okay, she's going to be hella stubborn and I need your help to help me with her.."

Ace got off the bed helping her make the bed he came over to Aikyō kissing her shoulder,

"I'll do anything you need me to."

Before they went downstairs Aikyō took off her clothes catching Ace off guard. She put on an orange sundress that made her look like a flower and she fixed her hair in the vanity mirror. She almost looked like her mother if she'd been wearing a black dress instead.Ace remembered the beautiful mural of her,it acknowledged her being the Goddess of the Seas and it captured her beauty perfectly.She had a golden beaded forehead band on and he was stunned by how feminine she appeared now.

She opened the doors grabbing Ace's hand guiding him down the stairs where his eyes should have been on everything or anything else he could only look at Aikyō.Her hair was long, curly and black like a starless sky, she had a serious aura yet her expression showed calming serenity.He had never seen her like this and when the doors opened it wasn't the light that blinded him it was the way Aikyō smiled at Yuki, Jep's pregnant wife.Jep said,

"I'm sorry haha I uh did my best to resist my wife's charms but she pulled a fast one haha.Oh uh Yuki this is Ace, a childhood friend of Aiky-"

Yuki hugged Aikyō doing everything she could not to get emotional she looked at Ace bringing him into a hug as the raven haired woman said,

"I missed you Yuki. I need to do an examination to see how the baby is doing okay, come on I'll teleport us to my house. This place will belong to you and Jep once the baby is born."

Yuki smiled staying close to Aikyō,

"I feel so tired. I hope you can induce my labor soon. I don't know how much longer I can hold out."
