Bell test

Ren POV

I woke up at 2:00 am and went to the bathroom to take a quick shower that actually took around 20 minutes, that's about 19 minutes to long

After I got dressed I head out to see dad

"alright i was thinking we run around the village 10 times on our hands then do 20'000 push ups and then punch a tree 100'000 times? how does that sound, something light for your first official day with kakashi!"

dad said loudly before Lee knocked on the door

"alright, let's get going!"

Lee said and we went to do the things, of course dad finished first, then me, then Lee

"alright lotus go to meet up with your team, come on Lee, lets go meet tenten and neji"

I ran down to the meeting area only to see that there was no one there, probably because im half an hour early, i decided to take a nap so i climbed into the tree and took a nap, i was awoken to the sound of naruto and sakura yelling at sensei for being late, i jumped out of the tree and asked

"hey whats all the comotion"

and aparently none of them had noticed that i was there because i scared all of them and startled sasuke

"when did you get here?" saakura asked turning to me "uhm like 4:00 or 4:30, then i took a nap"

i said and sasuke stood up and walked over

after explaining what the 'bell test' is sensei made a remark that upset naruto so he ran at sensei with a kunai only for sensei to grab him and point his own kunai at the back of his neck

"now now I didn't say start"

said sensei

"ready, START"

he yelled and we all scattered, except for naruto

'there's no way he can take on kakashi sensei by himself, i think i have an idea actually, just have to wait for naruto to get lost'

I thought to myself and got comfortable

i was just drawing in the dirt and looked over to watch sensei stick his fingers up Naruto's ass

'oof, one thousand years of death, poor guy, anyway'

I thought and jumped out to the battlefield my sensei saw me when he turned around and said

"oh, hello ren, i didn't hear you"

he said with plenty of sarcasm because if there was one thing i was never good at it was being quiet

"alright, no jutsu, no weapons, just good old fashion taijutsu"

I said with a smirk across my face knowing that i was better at taijutsu than him, he may be rivaling with my dad but i've been training with him and i've gotten good

"aw come on, at least make it a fair fight"

he said with a smile under his mask

"fair like putting three undertrained, unexpirienced genin against a former anbu and telling them that one of them would automatically fail?"

when i said that he chuckled and took off his weapons belt

"you're right, alright, on three"

he said and started counting to three, when he got to three, i ran at him dodging his attacks and was about to land a blow on the back of his head before he moved, both of us were throwing punches and evading the others for about 5 minutes

after another little bit i retraeted and took off a row of leg weights releasing 200 lbs, i started zomming around kicking the backs of his legs and hiting his weak points only for him to lift up his head band and start blocking me and he actually managed to land some hits

"alright, you keep you bell, i'm going to go get reinforcements"

i said and grabbed my weights, put them back on and jumped off to find the others, i eventually found sasuke and tried to convince him to help me

"ahh sasuke, just the uchiha i was looking for, come with me, we'll go find the others and fight him together"

i said and grabbed his wrist before he pulled away "no, there are only three bells, this is individual" he said and turned around

"no it's not, well, i don't think it is, what's the point of having teams if it's individual, we would have a better chance at getting the bells if we all went at him"

after a while of convincing i got him to join me, then off to find sakura, she should be much easier to get to join cause sasuke is here then naruto should follow along as well

after i got all of them together we were working out our plan and sasuke asked "but there are only three bells, that means one of us isn't going to pass"

he said looking up and i thought for a minute then said "you three can have the bells, I'll get another chance next year, it's fine, let's go"

"no, you three take them"

sasuke said looking at me and i blushed

"no, you need to pass, i can survive, worse case scenario i wait another year, naruto had a hard time at the academy, sakura would hold herself back if you weren't here and you are by far the strongest here, you take the bell, now let's go"

i said and jumped into the field with the sasuke still protesting

i went in and distracted him while naruto made a bunch of clones to try and grab the bells, sasuke did a jutsu and fire balls came out of his mouth and sakura set traps

then naruto finally got the bells, he gave one to sakura and one to me and said that 'sasuke doesn't deserve one because he's so stuck up and bratty' and how 'if he's so strong he should be fine being held back a year'

"naruto" i said with a playful glare and tried to give sasuke the bell but he wouldn't take it "listen 'last uchiha' take the god damn bell and become a proper genin before i knock and force you to take it" when i said that he rolled his eyes and took it and we all realized that sensei was just looking at us smiling "you let us get the bells didn't you uncle kashi" i asked turning to him "maybe" he said smiling

"lets go to the starting point and eat"
