Mia Thomson was a eight teen year old girl from England with dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was driving her 1990 Toyota Corolla to her best friend, Riley's, parents house. She looked around at the big houses she was driving by and, like always, got the feeling she was not supposed to be there. Like she did not fit in, like she was an alien from the other side of town.
She parked her car and walked up a flight of stairs to get to Riley's room. She was out on her balcony smoking a cigarette while admiring her neighborhood.
"Hey, Rile." Mia said standing behind her friend who quickly threw her cig down onto the lawn. "You said you were going to stop that."
"Yes I did, but babe, we're celebrating!" She had spun around and were jumping around. "We are going to see Tokio Hotel!"
"See what?"
"What? No who, they're the band I have been talking about these last six months. Daddy got me, us, backstage tickets as an early birthday present."
"Oh okay." Mia said sitting down on the bed inside the room.
"What? You should be more excited. My plan is, as soon as we get backstage, I need to talk to Bill. He's the lead singer in the band, and he's so~ cute." Riley tried to hold onto that 'so' for as long as possible. She had jumped on the bed and were now laying on her stomach kicking her feet. "And honestly you should hook up with one of them too. You need to move on from him and sleeping with a rockstar might just be the best way."
"When's the concert then?" Mia asked trying to sound excited. If she would have been honest, she had never heard Riley talking about them, and she had no idea of whom they were. But if it were Riley's biggest dream for now she would of course go along with it. If not only to keep an eye on her so she didn't get hurt.

Mia and Riley had been best friends since they could remember, despite being so different.
Riley Cox were a brunette girl with brown doe eyes who lived 'on the nice side of town'.  She didn't fear anything and were extremely extroverted. Riley were such a natural beauty and could easily pull any guy with only a wink. And she did too, she had dated the hottest guys in their town so Mia's guess was that she wanted to go international. She always stood up for Mia when her popular friends asked why she still was hanging with the poor girl. And Mia truly was great-full for having her as a friend and would go to any lengths to protect her. Riley may be really hot but because she don't fear anything she often gets into a lot of trouble.

"It's in two days so you need to go home and pack because the flight leaves in an hour. Or you could just borrow some of my clothes you always look so good in them."

"What?! I can't go, I have work this weekend."
"Oh my god, Mia come on, do I have to pay you to come?"
"No it's fine I'll say I became sick." Mia said.
They packed Riley's bag and then they tried to decide what of her clothes to bring Mia. Her friend didn't own any clothes that wasn't revealing because 'she wasn't a nun' she tried to argue. Mia did not mind revealing clothes once in a while, but she did want comfortable revealing clothes.
"I asked daddy and he said he would drive us to the airport but we should really get going." Riley said and that went out to the car that stood parked on the driveway.
"Hello girls." Riley's dad said.
"Hi Mr Cox." Mia smiled. Their whole family and her had always been close and Mr and Mrs Cox thought of her as their extra daughter.
"Have you told your mother about you going away for a couple of days?" Michel Cox asked her.
"Yes I called her about half an hour ago to let her know."
"Well if you want I can call her too to let her know about details and such."
"Yes that would probably be good. She seemed a little sceptic."
They got to the airport and was a little while after on a plain to a bigger city an hour away.
They got off, got in a taxi and went to a hotel that was close to the stadium they were going to.
"When's the concert?"
"It's tomorrow at six and the plain home leaves two days later. I thought we could have some fun afterwards too and look around."
They agreed it sounded like a good plan and quickly changed to go eat somewhere.
"Let's do a fast food place, right?" Mia tried.
"Girl, no! We are only here for a while let's go to the best place here."
"You know I don't have that sort of money, especially not with me." Riley knew, but she liked paying, it made her happy that other people got to have nice things because of her. She was like her dad in that way, but he was more selfless.
"I'm paying for this whole trip remember?"
"I'll pay you back."
"No! This is my birthday present."
They got to a restaurant not far away from their hotel. It was a place called Le Gavroche that not only looked expensive but, in some weird way, smelled it too.
They got a seat and sat down somewhere in the middle of the restaurant.
Mia ordered the least expensive dish on the menu that was some sort of hotdogs with chicken and cheese inside. She couldn't catch what Riley ordered but then the meals arrived it turned out to be a salmon that had been living in a tank inside the restaurant.
"Was your hotdog good?" Riley asked Mia who had some fries in her mouth.
"Yeah.... Wait." She finished the fries and continued: "yes it is great"
"It was also the cheapest on the menu. You know you're allowed to order whatever you want, right? You don't always have to get the least expensive stuff. I'm your sugar mommy."
"Rile!! Stop!" They laughed as people turned their heads to get a look of the 'sugar mommy'.
"No but for real, Mia, shit how long have we known each other. I hope you know that I would do anything for you and I love to spoil you. And if you really need to you can pay me back when you get rich and famous."
Mia loved that they could always joke no matter the situation. She was so glad she had Riley as a friend.

{this was just a short before about Mia and her life. In the next chapter they will meet the band:)}
