2009 - Tom Kaulitz

chapter eighteen

The boys sat down beside them as soon as they entered the room. All of them were a little sweaty and exhausted after the two shows. Tom sat down beside Mia on the couch and the others in armchairs around them. He sat back and put his arm around her shoulder and asked how the day went. She told him it was really nice and that the rain had passed. 

"That dress is really hot." He whispered into her hair once again causing her to get goosebumps. She was wearing a black dress that had cut outs on the side of her stomach, it was off the shoulders with the straps hanging down the arms. It was pretty short but not enough to make her uncomfortable and she didn't need to pull it down all of the time. With that she was wearing a gold necklace and some black heals. All of which he had bought her. 

"I'd hope so, you picked it." She smiled looking at him who was still scanning her body. 

"Well, I chose the right one." He insisted putting a hand on her stomach. "It fits you great." 

The band told the girls about the shows and then they got ready for the interview. 

"Hi my name is Camilla and I am gonna be the one to interview you guys today." A woman in her thirties said tho the band who had once again sat down with the girls. "I know who you four are, but who might you two be? Could it be.. Am I so lucky that you two have brought your newly found lovers today?" She asked the brothers who nodded and agreed. "Well, do you two feel like being in the interview by any chance?" She asked the girls who looked at each other than their respective boyfriends. Tom looked a little uptight like he wasn't sure if she'd expose him for all the fans to see. Oh how she loved making him a nervous wreck. She smiled at him lightly before speaking up;

"I don't know, we haven't done anything like that before." She tried, but she knew how interviewers could be. She had some experience with them after her fathers accident, they caught her walking from school or buying groceries. She would think they were talking privately but afterwards find out they weren't, when her statements were in the newspaper. 

"It's not that hard, anyone can do it. It's like having a normal conversation just ignore the cameras."

"I- maybe we can come in for a short bit but not the whole thing, it's not our interview." She sid and the interviewer got really excited. She left for a short while to talk to her team and fix the setup. 

"She will probably ask questions wanting a answer she can twist, so be careful with your answers. But I don't doubt you'll watch your mouth, you're smart, it's your friend I'm worried about." Tom said lowly so only she could hear. She nodded showing him she understood what he meant. 

The camera team set up their equipment and Riley and Mia left the shot after agreeing to come in later. The interview started and every now and then Tom looked over nervously catching Mia's eyes. She just smiled back to comfort him and when she did she calmed down and returned the smile. The band was asked a lot about the coming tour and how they were feeling about it. But once those questions was done she turned to the camera. 

"You guys at home might notice that we have two more seats open here, and that's not because of bad planning. We have two more guests that I've convinced to be in this interview for the last few minutes. Come take a seat Mia and Riley!" She said enthusiastically and the girls smiled as they sat down between their boyfriends. Tom quickly put his arm around her which made her feel some comfort. 

"So I don't know a lot about you and your relationships. I didn't know they would be here so I have only had a couple of minutes to write down some questions. But it will work, right guys?" She continued. "And this is your first interview ever, making this the first ever source about the Kaulitz twins girlfriends. So first of all, how did you two meet each other? Was it through the band or did you known each other before?" She asked the girls.
