You started unpacking your duffle bag, eager to finally lay down. You started off by placing your shoes and water bottles by the front of the tent, off in a corner. You rolled out an air mattress, there was an outlet connected to a power box at the left back corner of your tent.

They must have a whole electric system underground.

You plugged in the air compressor and let the mattress inflate while you dug around in your duffle bag to find your phone charger. Eventually you found it and plugged it in as well. You finally placed your folded clothes on the right side of your tent, then unplugged the air compressor. You pulled out your pillow and blanket and made your bed.

Looks perfect.

Not even changing out of your gear, you threw yourself onto your bed while glancing at your watch again. It read 18:30. Before doing anything, you grabbed your phone and set an alarm for 19:30. You stretched and let your muscles practically melt. You laid there for about 20 minutes trying to go to sleep. No success. You pushed yourself up and decided to go look around your area. You slid into some slides, unzipped your tent, and began looking around. You noticed the tent that was your bunkmates was unzipped.

Was it like that before?

You shrugged it off, walking behind the tents to find a path that looked like it went up to a ledge. As much as you wanted to explore it, the sun had already disappeared, leaving you in a blanket covered sky full of stars. You walked back to the front of the tents to see some dimly lit tents fade to black, people were already heading towards the food hall. You started zoning out, staring at the sky, the moon mainly catching your attention. You heard leaves rustling, as if someone was switching their posture. You suddenly felt eyes on you. As if someone was wanting you to go back into your tent so they could reveal themselves. You snapped into reality when you heard your alarm going off. You quickly rushed to your tent, embarrassed. You turned the alarm off and removed you chest gear. You changed into some sweatpants and a grey T-shirt. You shuffled to your duffle-bag to grab a flashlight, while doing so you heard leaves rustling and the neighboring tent shuffling.

What the fuck is that?

You brushed it off, hoping it was just the wind shifting the tent. You slipped into some tennis shoes and prepared yourself to go outside. You awkwardly stepped outside your tent. To your surprise, nothing was there, or so it seemed. You zipped up your tent and turned your flashlight on and started walking, the sound of gravel being the only sound for miles. Until you heard leaves rustling and a tent zipping up. You jolted around pointing your flashlight at a mysterious figure. It looked as if they were getting ready to go somewhere. . .
