i wake up to me sweating

i must have been under the covers for too long

i check the time

"4:30 am"

shit why am i up at this time

but since its pretty early and the sun is starting to come up i might as well go

i get out the bed quietly so i don't wake up tom

i don't wanna wake him up and tell him that im leaving

i look around his room

ah ha!

on top of his dresser he has a stack of paper

i grab one of the sheets and fold it up real small
and i use this mechanical pencil i found on his desk

"hey i didn't want to wake you up early and im sorry if i made your night more miserable but thank you for letting stay over ill talk to you later! - xoxo y/n"

there and ill add my phone number so we can talk

i leave the note on his desk and leave his room

i go downstairs and leave the house

finally its not raining and the sun is starting to shine

i should be fine this time

i finally get home and see a car in my parking garage

i see my best friend must have stayed here last night

i use my key to get in and when i walk in all the
lights are on really bright

"hello?" i say dimming down some of the lights
"y/n!" i hear from upstairs

i run upstairs to my room and see my best friend on my bed on her phone

"omg y/n where the fuck were you i was worried sick i couldnt go to sleep!" she said getting off the bed
"well i-

i get cut off
"here just tell me what all happened i wanna know"

she said as her mood changed quickly

"well i went over there he had a bunch of guitars and he taught me how to play one and them we went out for lunch and then we got back and we watched tv for a bit then i forgot to check the time and i went to go walk back to my house but it was raining and i got soaked then tom saw me and brought me home i changed into his old clothes then slept with him and yeah now im here" i said

"wait you slept with a guy?!" she scream

"yeah... is that a bad thing?" i said raising both eyebrows

"yes it is! you could have gotten killed or pregnant by some guy you didn't even know"
she screamed

which made me feel upset

"but it was only for one night" i mumbled

"that doesn't matter i care about you i drove you there and everything and you didn't even think about what could have happened" she said storming out the room

i could feel my eyes getting light and watery
i slam my door and throw myself onto my bed and cry

it hurt so bad to realize that i hurt someone who card about me so much

i haven't cried this hard in so long it wants to make me cry even more

i had fallen asleep from crying so much

my face felt dry

my stomach hurts

my throat is sore

i felt so bad

does that mean i need to stop hanging out with tom or ignore my best friend and keep hanging out with him

i don't know what to do

i really need to make it up to my best friend

i throw on some clothes and grab my moms wallet (cough cough black card) and i leave my house and start walking down to the city were all the shopping stores are at

im just going to go through everyone one of her favorite stores and get her stuff

im finally done shopping for her gifts now time to go home and hopefully make it up to her

i start walking back home and start planning on what to write on my sorry note to her

i get home and throw everything on the couch and run upstairs to write a sorry note

"dear b/f/n i would like to began with saying im am truly sorry for not being aware of what was going and and not thinking of the situation i could have gotten in to i never sat and took a momment to appreciate how much you cared for me i really hope we can still be best friends. - love y/n"

there that should be good

i take the note and head downstairs

i open the garage to grab a box to put all her stuff in

i decide to decorate it with there favorite colors

then ill stick the note on the outside

i get done with her gift and head upstairs to call her

"hello?" i say

"what do you want" she huffs

"can you please come over i promise you wont regret it pretty pleaseeee" i beg

"fine" she says hanging up

well at least she's coming

i head back downstairs and kick her gift to the
kitchen so she wont see it first thing when she walks

through the door

*knock*

i open the door to see her

i never felt more happy to see her

"come sit down i have to show you something" i squeal

she sits and and i run into the kitchen and try to pick it up

a lil heavy but i got it

i take it to the living room and sit it on the coffee table

i will say it was pretty awkward she didn't seem happy at first

i just sat by her on the couch and waited for a response

i hear sniffing and she just hugs me
very tight..

"i acept your apology" she says still hugging me
"thank you" i hug her back
