"Bad night sweet nightmares"

Hospital

Hospital is something that Avni never liked. She hated it. She hated it with all passion.

She never wanted to see this place again after that day.

She sighed and shifted her gaze from the empty corridor to her daughter who was beside her playing with her teddy Mr.Pebbles.

"Do you want to eat something,sweet pea?" Aarvi shook her head in reply. Avni patted her head softly.

Lily suddenly fell ill at night and Neil wasn't home also so Avni had to call ambulance and came with her. She had called Neil but he unfortunately got stuck with traffic.

Avni sighed softly and walked to the huge window beside the seats.

The night was still young for the people on the road. She could see bunch of cars on the road in traffic.
From this height, it was looking like an ocean with colourful stars.

Her eyes roamed at the empty corridor of hospital once. It was quite,empty,dark. So much different from the outer side of the hospital.

This quietness always made her stomach churn. She felt like something was about to lose every time she visited hospital.

She really hated it

But we can't always avoid what we hate that's why she was again in this place. Bearing the quietness. Ignoring the nauseous feeling in her stomach.

She sighed in relief when she saw Neil entering in the corridor.

For the first time she's thanking God for letting him be near her.

"Doctor still hasn't came out" Neil nodded. After waiting for a bit doctor came out from the room.

"Reece! How's Aunt?" Neil asked Reece impatiently. Reece patted his shoulder "Don't worry. She had a mild heart stroke but now she's stable."

He said making both Avni and Neil sigh in relief. Neil talked for a few moments more with Reece and brought medicines for Lily.

After handling all these Neil went to Avni. "Thank you so much for bringing her to hospital and helping us"
Even though this woman annoys the hell out of him he couldn't help but feel bad when he saw her sitting alone with her daughter at this time for his aunt.

"Aunt Lily is a mother figure for me. It was a duty for me too." Avni smiled.
"I guess we can leave now" she pointed to her and Aarvi.

"Just a minute I'll drop you both-" Avni cut him off. "No need of it. We'll get a cab-"

This time Neil cuts her off
"You came here for my aunt and I was absent for her that time so it's my responsibility to drop you both safely back." Neil deadpanned. "And you both are coming with me that's it"

Avni glared at him.

Why the hell she thought this man was nice a bit. He is a satan.

Neil royally ignored the glare and went to talk on phone. Avni glared at his back before settling down on the seat beside her daughter.

A sandwich appeared in front of her and she looked at the man who was holding it. She raised her eyebrow.

Neil rolled his eyes "I'm giving this because I'm not gonna spend money on you if you get sick here."

Avni ignored the sandwich and him. Neil let a frustrated sigh. "Avni for the god sake have this bloody sandwich
Please"

Before Avni could say something he shoved the sandwich in her mouth.
"See now no one will eat this sandwich which you have eaten and you can't waste the food so have it" He gave a victory smirk to her making her grit the teeth.

MF

Lily's sons were arrived at the hospital. After meeting them Avni and Neil left from there shortly after.

"Where are you taking the car?" Avni asked seeing the road Neil had took wasn't the one to their houses.

"Will you tell why did you took this road? Are you going to kidnap us? Listen, I don't have crores of money to give you so how about you find someone who'll actually pay you ransom!!"

Neil mentally facepalmed himself.

Can't this woman think straight once in her life.

"Who said that you don't have anything to give" Neil smirked looking at the widened eyes of Avni from the corner of his eyes.

"I can make much money selling your organs" Avni gasped. "I knew it. You can't be a normal man. A normal person can't be like this. Oh god someone helppp!!!"

Before she could shout more and wake-up her daughter Neil stopped the car and stopped her mouth with his palm.

He was leaning towards her palming her mouth. Her eyes were wide in sudden shock. Neil gestured his head towards Aarvi who was sleeping in the back seat and places his finger on his lips. Avni recovered from shock and gave a bite on his hand before pushing him.

"Owww!!" Neil yelped in pain and glared at the woman who was also glaring at him. "What on the earth a woman with right mental state bites!" He whispered yell.

"Oh really!" She bit back. "And what man in his right mental state bullies a pregnant woman"

Neil's brows furrowed in confusion and he looked at Aarvi.

She's pregnant?

"What?!!" Avni yelled and he realised he said it aloud. "I-I didn't meant it actually i-, ughhh!! You! Yeah you're pregnant!!" He fumbled at his dumb thoughts.

Avni shook her head.

This man is literally a 'huge' freaking idiotic bastard

"What?! You can't blame me. I didn't knew you are pregnant" Neil said in his defense. "And what made you think that my daughter would be?"

Neil was dumbfounded. He didn't thought Avni was pregnant and he don't even know why he thought that her daughter would be pregnant.

For the god sake,Neil Khanna!!

He shouted on himself mentally. "I'm sorry" he muttered in embarrassment. "You should be" Avni muttered under her breath and gave him a last glare.

MF

"Hey sweet pea,wake up! We're at home." Aarvi sat on the seat of car, looking at her mother sleepily. Avni pushed the hairs back from her face and gave a small peck on the cheek before scooping her daughter in her arms.

"Thank you for dropping us" Neil nodded still being embarrassed. "You know you don't have to be embarrassed" Avni stated.

Neil looked at her. "Everyone knows that you're an freaking idiotic arrogant man so it doesn't matter. Whatever you say most of the time it makes no sense" Avni shrugged and went inside her house leaving Neil dumbfounded standing there.

Neil gritted his teeth and glared at her house's door. He turned to his car door to park the car when Avni stuck her head out from her home "Are you going to stand there and curse me whole night?"

Neil shoot an annoying glare to her "No I mean,I don't give a shit but make sure you're not blaming me if you're gonna be ill. Bad night sweet nightmares."

She quickly went inside and Neil shook his head. He parked his car and went to his home too.

He let himself fall on the bed and sighed in relief. He was about to fall asleep when he remembered something and smiled.

Bad night sweet nightmares to you too!

He thought before the sleep took over him.
