Athy spent the next few days going about her usual routine, but she couldn't help feeling distracted. The image of the boy with the ruby red eyes kept popping up in her mind at the most unexpected times. Was it because of his pretty face? Whatever the reason, she found herself looking for him in the school hallways, but didn't catch a glimpse of him again.

"What's wrong with me... I've only seen him a few seconds..." Athy was left confused.

It was a beautiful Saturday morning, and Athy decided to take a walk in the park to clear her head. As she strolled along the path, she suddenly heard a loud crash from the nearby basketball court. She hurried over to see what was happening and saw a group of boys playing basketball. And there he was, the boy from the other day, in the midst of the game.

Athy stood there, watching as he ran up and down the court, his movements fluid and graceful. She couldn't help but be impressed by his athleticism. As she watched him, she realized that she was so captivated by a boy who she didn't even know the name of.

Curiosity getting the better of her, Athy walked closer to the court. The boy caught her eye, and their eyes met for a moment before he turned back to the game. Athy was surprised when he suddenly shot the ball towards her direction, and it landed at her feet. She picked it up and tossed it back to him, their fingers brushing against each other's.

"Thanks," he said, a hint of surprise in his voice.

Athy nodded, unsure of what to say. They awkwardly stood there for a moment, both of them unsure of what to do next. Finally, the boy spoke up.

"Lucas," he said, extending his hand.

"Athanasia," Athy replied almost instantly, taking his hand.

Lucas looked at her for a moment, his ruby red eyes piercing. "You go to my school, right?"

Athy nodded. "Yeah, we're in the same grade."

Lucas seemed to consider this for a moment, before nodding. "See you around, Athanasia."

Athy watched as he jogged back onto the court, dumbfounded. He had a name now – Lucas. The name suited him, she thought.

As Athy walked back home, she couldn't help but feel happy. Maybe, just maybe, she could get to know him better.
