"Why were you singing that!?" She cried. Russell knew that he shouldn't have sung it. His dreams of being a famous singer would be crumpled because of this 'Alexandria'.
"I'm sorry!" He began. "I didn't mean to!"
Alexandria's fist scrunched up. "YOU-ARE-SO-DEAD!"
BANG! Russell's eye was like a chrysalis and one of his teeth fell down. He explained to Alexandria that he never loved her. "Get lost LOVER BOY!"
All Russell did was crumple near a wall. A few minutes later, Russell heard his friend Geoffery say "Hello Russell! Why are you so puny like that?"
His friend jumped up. "I look puny?" "Yeah. Sure you do!"Geoffery grabbed out a one dollar coin and then winked his eye at him. "I'm going to buy a triple ice cream!"
Russell groaned.
For the rest of the day, Russell was given rude looks and tongues from Alexandria. After school, at home, Junis was creating another love song.
He sang it so often that night, Russell began to feel love and pride all over him. He loved music very much and Russell wanted to grow up just like his brother did.The next day was Saturday and Russell realised that Junis wasn't there. Soon, he found out that Junis was at a special concert live in the city. So at night, Russell drove to the place where there were huge skyscrapers and markets with lots of treasure to share. "BOOKS! BOOKS FOR SALE!" shouted one man as Russell passed the market. The man clutched his shoulder. "You will buy my books right?" He asked. "My family's poor and I need money".
The boy soon gave in and bought one of those fantasy treasures. He then arrived a big hall that said in capital letters:
JUNIS DEVINO LIVE ON STAGE AT THE RIKY HALL NOW!
Aha! Russell thought. This must be it..."C'MON LET'S SING ALONG TO MY FAVOURITE SONG AND THEN CLAP YOUR HANDS AND ENJOY THE LANNNNNNNNNNND!"
Ugh! Ugly singing! But with another song, Russell felt relaxed and calm to the flute and the violins as Junis sang the only not 'love song'. It was about how the mountains would help us up when we fall down... He thought.
The night was done and Junis was a s relaxed as a person in a spa. He walked out of the concert hall and looked up. Up above, tiny glowing lanterns light up the stretched out sky. He loved it.
