Gina was sick, his wife has to go to work and that he can't go to his brother's concert. But then he had an idea. "REBECCA!" He called. She came running in, suitcase in her hand and the first-aid kit in the other. "I need you to be absent ok?" Rebecca was looking down at her feet in worry, Russell knew what she was thinking. For her away, the people who might need her would be crying desperately for medicine or help. He had no choice. Russell wanted to go to Junis's concert and he wanted Rebecca to keep doing her job, saving people.
Russell also thought about Gina, her unhappy and unwell face. Then, an even better idea popped up. "Rebecca, I want you to take care of Gina!" "I can't! People need me to help them!" "And Gina needs you to help her! Now, is that what you want? Your little child to grow up strong and healthy?" Rebecca looked up to him.
"Yes".
"C'mon! It's not that bad isn't it Rebecca! At least you're taking care of someone!" Rebecca made a slight smile at him and hugged him. "You're a genius Russell".
At last, Russell reached the hall and he was 3 minutes late. Russell walked through the stone walls of the entrance of the hall and then heard the music of guitars and electric pianos playing in the very back of the area. Fans screaming and cheering and Russell was pretty surprised by the time he found the Alexandria was there too. Then, the lights went dark and instead of proud cheering, he heard a horrifying scream haunting the hall. When the lights were on, Junis wasn't there. There was a note lying behind the microphone where he was:
12 MACINTOSH ROAD
"What does it mean?" the man with the guitar asked. "Someone took him there. Right there..." The piano girl said. Russell grabbed her by the shoulder and said, "Do you know anything about disappearing humans?" She shook her head. "No!" Russell groaned and ran outside. A shadow figure was running down the alley and he followed it until he was out of breath. The man (or woman) was too fast to catch up with.He caught energy and ran towards the shadow figure again and caught him. He was dragged by it. The human would not stop running until he reached his destination.
