Ep. 6 (continue from Ep. 5) "Admiring Your Secret Admirer"

(Continue from Ep. 5!)
Frank's pov:

Eddie stood up, looking directly down at me. "You're very light, Frank." He said with a soft chuckle. My face was red, I could feel the warmth of my face. "I am.?" I asked. He nodded at my question, keeping his adorable smile on his face. I noticed Julie was giving me two thumbs up, telling me to tell Eddie how I felt. I chuckled softly.

"Is something funny, Frankly?" Eddie asked, standing over me happily. I jumped out of shock. "O-Oh! No! Nothing! I'm quite fine. Nothing here is funny." I said with a struggle. He calmly placed his hand on my shoulder, my face redder than ever as I heated up. "Frank, we should maybe...hang out sometime. I'd love to get to know you more; you seem very interesting." He suggested in a soft, warm tone. I stared at him for a minute, watching as his eyes shined and the wind brushed against his hair.

"Uh..yes, sure. Why not, I do not have anything to do besides read anyways.." I replied with a small sigh. He smiled brightly. "We can have a picnic or something!" He said, keeping his wide, warm smile on his face. "Sure, that sounds..fun?" I said in reply.

"Great! It's a date then!" Eddie said before quickly walking away.

I stood there, frozen in utter shock. Julie had her mouth and eyes wide open. "It's a date then..?" I thought to myself. I noticed that Eddie's hat had fallen when he was walking away, which had turned into speed walking, then a jog, then running. I picked it up, admiring it. Julie jumped around happily. "My gosh! You are going on a date with him! Wow! This is amazing new!!" She said loudly, practically exploding with joy.

I smiled and put Eddies hat on my head. I couldn't wait..seeing him always makes me happy. I mean, who doesn't love a clumsy, handsome, kind mailman like Eddie Dear?

It was unbelievable, I was going on a date with Eddie. I suddenly realized; what if he meant "It's a date then!" As I way to say, "I will see you later then!" Gosh..what if we are completely wrong! But I don't think you would take someone out to a picnic just to be friends...wait, Julie and I did that before. Oh gosh! What if I got excited over nothing!
