Ep.2 "The Mailman's Letter"

Julie's pov:

I stared at Frank dead in the eyes. "Why are you being so mean to the mailman?" I asked in an angry voice. "I'm not! I'm like this all the time." They replied crossing their arms. "I feel like you have something for Eddie." I stated. "W-what!? No no! Never!" They said in a panic.

"Don't worry Frank, I support you. I would never hate you for being gay." I said proudly

"I am not gay!"

"And I'm not a lesbian."

"IM NOT!"

"Shh..it's okay to open up slowly."

"UGH! I SWEAR IM NOT GAY! I PINKY PROMISE!"

"Frank, you know it's practically illegal to break a pinky promise, so don't put yourself in that situation."

Frank let out a long, frustrated groan. I pat their shoulder to comfort them. "I don't know Eddie that well-" Frank was interrupted by the doorbell. They stood up to go get the door.

Frank's pov:
I opened the door to see none other than Eddie. I was a bit shocked to see him since Julie and I were just talking about him..and that I'm not gay. I think. "Oh hello, Frank. I was actually looking for you!" Eddie said happily. "I-I uh..uhm what did you need m-me for?" I ask, having no idea why I was stuttering so much. "I just wanted to give you a letter." He replied with a bright smile. He handed me a letter that had a cute little butterfly on the side.

I took the letter from him; nervously staring at the letter. "I'm going to go now. Have a nice rest of your day, Frank!" He said before leaving. Something about the smile on his made me feel...butterflies. I quickly shut the door then ran to the table, Julie sitting then innocently with a smile. "Sooo?" She said. "So what?" I ask. "What did you get?" She replied. I looked down at the letter, lightly blushing. "Just a letter." I said with a slightly sad tone. I was a little upset that he only gave me letter. I was kind of hoping for more.

I sighed and smiled as I stared at the letter given to me. I knew why I felt butterflies.
