I get home and rip open the box, not reading the installation instructions. I know right, such a boss. It is a bit smaller than what I thought but it's fine. I take of my shirt and walk into the bathroom. I take off the first layer of skin on my palm successfully. I place each component into the correct are and sew my skin back on. It takes about 5-10 minutes for it to adjust.
I go over to my library and pull out a book to read. I sit down on my couch and start reading. I got lost in the book and didn't know what time it was until my alarm went off at 6.
I get dressed and put in my contacts. I blink just to make sure I don't have a problem with them. I grab my laptop, tablet, mp3, and my notebook and shove them all in my bag. I screw on my thumb drive and walk out the door. This time I took the correct train to work and ended up showing 30 minutes early. Good thing too, I forgot a new trainee was coming in today. I grab an apple on my way in and see a strange Blue Police Box, but I have seen weirder so I shrugged it off. I got to my office and see a new tree in the corner. I smile as I go to sit down at my desk, looking out the window to the forest.
At around 9:00, an hour later than expected, the trainee shows up. The first thing he says when he gets in is "Sorry". I just shook my head and told him to sit down. He sits down and I tell him to put his forehead to the center of the desk. The blue lights of a memory tree spread out in a matter of seconds. Tons of memories from different ages in his life. I look away because, come one, its a little creepy. Now for the "fun" part of the training. A 2 hour exam on what he learned. Looks like Ai am going to have to do overtime today. Crap.
He finishes the test around mid-day, I of course am passed out on my desk. he wakes me up and I send the test to the boss. I shake his hand as he walks out the door. I take the train home. I get home and the elevator is closed. I have to walk all the up the 15 flights of stairs to the top floor. Fun. I climb into bed around 6 because I decided to watch "The Hunger Games". My mind switches from the Gore of kids fighting each other, to sheep jumping over a fence. 109 if I counted right.
