Chapter 1 - New Game

'What is this...? What happened...? Why is it so dark here.... I can't see anything, can't feel anything... Are my eyes even open...?'

I thought as I drifted around in a space full of darkness. Surprisingly it was more calming to me that the fear and panic sensory deprivation usually induces to people. How long will I be stuck here? Aaah... I want to get out.

How long has it been? A week? A month? A year? 10 years? A 100 years?

I dont even know how much time has passed since I got stuck here. Even my memory has started to become foggy. This unchanging darkness..... It's driving me insane... I wish I could get a second chance at life. I have so many regrets, so many things I wanted to do, so many things to experience.

The biggest regret I have was that I was... Powerless. Always being the kid who got bullied, always the one who got the short end of the stick, always the one who was alone... I fought back, I tried to be friendly, I tried everything.... but it always happened again the next day. It seemed like a pointless struggle... Aaah.... I want to be strong... So strong that no one can bully me... So strong that even the strongest would fear me... I want to be the top of the top.

As if responding to my desperate cries, I saw light. A blinding light that I seem to have forgotten about in this dark abyss. So this.... This is how light felt....

'Where am I...? Where did that light bring me...?' I thought as I looked around the now white space I was in. Suddenly something popped up in front of me. It was a black screen with golden letters on it.

What? What the hell is wrong with these choices? In everything I have read about the Gamer System, the hosts get awesome races like Demon, or Dragon or the likes. But I get Goblin and Skeleton?
