Chapter 6 - Wrong Start

||3rd Person POV||

Rias was having a hard time. The time of her arranged marriage coming closer and closer and despite her protests her father would cancel the marriage. The only reason she had time was because of her mother and brother.

If not for them she would have already become one of Riser's playthings.

The only way out of this was a Rating Game and even that was a big gamble. But to do that, she needed to have a full Peerage. But, she wasn't able to find any good candidates. There was the boy named Issei who looked like he had a sacred gear, but it might even be a twice critical so even betting on him was a risky move. She was running out of options fast. She needed something that would be a diamond guaranteed.

And as if by some miracle, a new student with promising potential appeared suddenly. At first she was intrigued by him because of his large magic capacity thinking it was a strong sacred gear. And today after asking Sona she was informed that he was a magician. And an unaffiliated one at that.

Considering he was a magician he might be suppressing his actual mana capacity. This was a guaranteed jackpot. She needed him on her side at any cost.

She quickly called her Peerage to meet in the club room for a meeting about the matter.

Explaining the information to them, she asked for their opinion.

"....Any of you have anything to add onto this?"

Kiba stayed silent since he hasn't seen the new student himself.

"I saw him once by chance and he looked pretty strong. And handsome too~" Akeno said in her usual manner. Nodding to this, Rias shifted her attention to Koneko.

"Koneko you have seen him up close right? Do you have anything to say?" Rias asked Koneko.

"...He smells strong." Koneko added.

This was a good sign. The two members of her Peerage with good senses felt that he was strong.

"Does he feel dangerous?" Rias asked at last to make sure.

Thinking about it for a second, both Koneko and Akeno shook their heads much to Rias's relief.

But now comes the main obstacles. Getting him to join the Peerage. Rias wasn't as good as Sona in recruiting people to join her Peerage. She had found most of her Peerage members either half dead or due to her brother.

Thinking of a way to make him join, she finally decided on a strategy. A Honey trap.

She was confident in her body and looks and the honey trap method is still used by female devils to recruit Peerage members. It was a 50/50 gamble but this was all she could do in a limited amount of time.

Putting the plan into action immediately, she sent Kiba to bring the new student here once classes end.

Soon the classes ended and Kiba brought the new student here. She went in the shower a few minutes before he came.

Getting out of he shower, she finally saw him up close and he looked way different that he did back then. He looked way better. Way more handsome.

But what's shocked her the most was that he didn't give any kind of reaction to her almost naked body like she wanted. But not losing her composure she went through with the plan.

Seeing him and talking to him in person, her instincts screamed that he was valuable, way more so than Issei. Almost as if he was one of a kind.

She wanted him on her side no matter what.
