With shaking hands I buttoned my blazer closed, checking in the mirror if I looked presentable for the meeting that was about to start in three minutes. I impatiently waited for the elevator to take me to the top floor which seemed to take hours. When I heard the sound of the doors opening, I rapidly followed the signs on the wall that read 'meeting room'.
My heart skipped a beat when my eyes fell on my boss who seemed slightly annoyed. Perhaps my being late was the cause of it. I hurried over to him and bowed when he locked eyes with me. "Goodmorning sir"
He hummed, not paying further attention to me when the door opened and men in black suits walked into the room. "Mr Bang, we're honored to be here" A man who seemed like the manager of a company bowed, followed by the other men. When my boss nodded we all sat down, me taking place in the chair right next to him.
I promptly spread out the papers that would be needed during this meeting in front of the male next to me, making some quick changes here and there before the long lasting hour began.
About half an hour later it was my turn as the company's boss's secretary to summarize the meeting. After four months of working here I still got sweaty hands and shaking legs, but that didn't stop me from doing my job at its finest. This is what I studied for after all.
"Much obliged to your attendance by this meeting today, I'm positive we'll be contacting your company soon for a further detailed meeting."
"We're honored Mr. Bang"
And so the meeting was finally over. I gathered all the paperwork and precisely put them in the right order before waiting for my boss to leave. When he stood up I bowed and swiftly walked after him to the elevator.
When the doors closed I pulled my notebook out of the map in my hands and scanned over the different times written in it. "Sir, the next meeting is in the afternoon at five with the manager of company JYP, I will sent you an email with the information about the deal that has been set up" I typed away in my Ipad, too busy with all the work to notice the male next to me looking me up and down.
"Follow me to my office Lee"
I silently gulped at his command, growing nervous the closer we got to his floor. Why would he need me to come into his office? He never called me in after a meeting.
When the door closed behind us, I heard the sound of a lock being turned. I turned around only to see Mr Bang walking towards me with a playful look on his face. What was he doing? He never looked unprofessional.
