(A/N - Okay so this is the last chapter. I know it might end a little boring but I am planning a part II. Thanks for reading. Lovies Moi.)

Liam's POV

"Five. Four. Three. Two. One." I count us down and then Harry starts singing. While he is singing, I am recording it all on my phone. We're working on some new songs. It's been two months since me and Brooke moved into the house and I am bursting with lyrics. They're all super mushy but I don't care. We don't have to use them. "Wait, Niall, it's not gravy, it's groovy."

"What are we? That 70s Show?" Niall grumbles. "I'm hungry, Liam."

"I know. You're always hungry." I laugh and tell him to start again. We're working in the sitting area, trying to get the right melody for the song.

I have a surprise for Brooke. I can't wait for her to get home. Just as I am thinking this, Loki barks in the back. Damn it, he's spotted her. I had tried my best to hide the basket. I stop my phone and look over my shoulder. I turn back to start again but Loki barks again before I hear a whining sound and whimpers.

"What the hell was that?" Louis asks and we all jump up.

We reach the door and skid to a stop on our socks. Zayn, the uncoordinated fool slides right into the trash can, making everything inside fly all over the kitchen floor.

"Shit!" Louis gasps as he was behind Zayn and lands on top of him. I only stop to check on them, but they seem fine, so I run out onto the grass. Niall and Harry is behind me.

"Loki! Loki, no!" I dive for my dog, who is dragging the blanket off the basket and pulling the smaller, female version of himself, across the yard. When did he get so fast? Shit! "Niall, go over there!" I point to the other side of the grass and Niall takes off. Where the hell did Harry go? I find him bent over, holding his stomach and laughing by the door. Is he...? "Harry, you wanker!" I throw one of Loki's chew toys at Harry's head, but he dodges it. "Stop recording this and help! She's three weeks old!" If she falls in the water...

Harry seems to realise the same thing and he stops filming us trying to get the puppy from Loki. He's pulling her behind him, probably not even aware that she is in one of the folds of the blanket. She is so tiny. I got her this morning after I dropped Brooke off at school.

She is brown and white, where Loki is black and white. Her eyes are the same blue as Brooke's. How does a dog have such blue eyes? Loki's bark tells me he's enjoying this way too much. His tongue is lolling out of his mouth and his tail is wagging from side to side.

"Loki, buddy, come on now! Uncle Niall is tired!" Niall huffs after another unsuccessful dive. Harry manages to grab the blanket by the corner, but when he lifts the thing up with a victorious smile, my throat closes. Where the fuck is she?!

"Loki! Stop running right now!" I bark at him and he stops, looking at me. Yes, you've been bad! I fall to my knees near where Harry had gotten the blanket. I search for the little ball of brown and white fluff, and when I spot her I crawl over as fast as I can. Her eyes are wide and she's shaking. She was four feet from the pool. "Thank God," I whisper, "Guys! I have her!"

The united sighs of relief from my friends are clearly audible. We must have looked a right sight, diving around on the grass like maniacs. "Harry?! You still have that video?!"

Brooke comes home an hour after the guys leave, after having helped me clean up the place. Niall helped me load the video of us diving on Youtube as I gave Loki and our unnamed new baby a bath. Brooke gets to name her. Hopefully it won't be something like Peach, Pear, Grape or anything like that. Stupid celebrity baby names. Or dog names, in this case.

I am standing in the living room, trying to find something to watch when she pulls into the garage. I make sure again that the basket is on the island in the kitchen and that Loki is nowhere near it. He's curled up in front of the sofa on the red carpet. Good. I settle on the evening news and walk to the back door to open it for her.

"Liam, I'm home!" Brooke calls and the first thing I see is bags before she comes in after them. "I got some things for school," she explains when she sees me eyeing the bags. I nod and lean in for a kiss. I take the bags, which look heavy, from her and she sighs, throwing the keys on the island. I hate it when she does that. It's why we have the key hook and the bag rack and the shoe cubbies. Also, the puppy is sleeping.

"Can you not be so loud?" I whisper.

"Why are you whispering? Are we playing hide and seek with the guys again?" Brooke's eyes widen. "Where's Louis?!" Last time we were bored and played hide and seek, Louis hid in her bathtub. I usually take a shower but she likes to take a bath. He was in it with water, bubbles and nakedness. She scrubbed that tub four times.

"He's not here. None of them are."

"Oh." She walks to the fridge. "How are the songs coming?"

"Great, but Brooke, I have something to show you." I walk over. She is already looking at the basket, a frown on her face. She swallows the mouthful of Pepesi Max. "Yes. That."

"What is it?"

"Well, I was thinking the other day - "

"Never a good sign," she says and blows me a kiss when I glare at her.

"Anyway. I thought now that Loki's getting bigger..." Brooke nods and lifts the blanket. Her eyes widen when she peeks inside. She puts the bottle of soda down and then reaches into the basket. The puppy is so cute in her hands, just big enough to fit in her hands. She smiles at the puppy. "We could use another little baby, don't you think?"

"Liam," she gasps, "she's adorable." How did she know it is a girl? I go over and see that the puppy is laying just so that you can see the gender. "What's her name?"

"I was hoping you could tell me. She's more yours than mine." I put an arm around her and touch the puppy's tummy. It's so big and soft. Aw, now I want another one too...

Brooke puts her head back on my chest and I kiss her head. "I like Hazel."

"Hazel?"

"Yeah, you know like in Hazel Grace Lancaster? Only this is Hazel Payne."

Wow, what a name. I did tell her to name the puppy, so there we go.

Welcome to the family, Hazel.
