MY FAMILY HAS ALWays had a history of sports. My father, Grayson Robinson, was an American professional basketball player. He was widely regarded as one of the greatest players and scorers of his time. As a rookie, my father earned a reputation as a high-flyer by winning the Slam Dunk Contest, and was named an All-Star by his second season. His reputation still holds even though he has been retired for a while.
My mother, Alissan Robinson, was an American track and field sprinter. She use to compete in the 100 meters and 200 meter races. As a teenager, she won the 100 meter title at the AAU Junior Olympics. Safe to say she was also one of the best of her time. She retired when she pulled her hamstring sadly.
It's expected of me to live up to the reputation of my last name, of course. I'm the captain of my football team. The team is filled with professionals like me and wannabe professionals on the side lines. My talent exceeds everyone elses though. Multiple universities have emailed my father looking to sign me. The best of the best have even complimented my skills. It would just be unintelligent for the team not to make me captain. I mean have you seen me on the field. Exceptional.
It would be nice to say my popularity came just from my skills, but no. It was a fifty, fifty of my looks and talents, more like sixty, forty. Girls always took an interest in me and honestly, I took an interest in them too. I'm not picky. If it's fat you know where I'm at. I don't want to say I'm a player but there is no way I can settle down in a commited relationship. Too much effort, too much commitment and plus I have to focus on football. Can not have any unnecessary distractions. Then again, look at it this way, I'm like Picasso, he liked painting, sculpting, doing ceramic, printmaking and theatre design. I like chill, athletic, loud, nerdy girls and anything that catches my eye. Do not limit me. If I don't taste it, how will I know I don't like it.
