Jungkook went to Mr. Kim's Cabin and noticed the mid aged handsome man smiling at him.

Mr. Kim signaled him to sit on the chair opposite the desk.

"So... Jungkook.... How's everything going?" he asked.

"Fine as always..." jungkook replied with a humble smile.

Mr. kim is always so humble and nice. But today, he seems a bit tensed.

Jungkook was about to ask if anything happened. But he spoke, "Btw... I never asked you.... How did you exactly meet y/n?"

Jungkook was confused at first then replied, "I'm her senior and we met in University"

Along with a few nods, he asked again, "Where do you live?"

Jungkook went nervous and didn’t know what to reply, so he said whatever came to his mind, "Uh... Next door of her"

"You guys are neighbours??" Mr. Kim gave a surprised look.

"Sort of..." he replied breaking the eye contact.

Mr. Kim smiled again before saying, "That's good.... Can you do something if I request you?"

"Yes?" he asked.

"Can you please check on her every day? Once a day will also be fine" he requested looking straight into his eyes.

Jungkook was confused so he spoke, "She acts tough... But she's still a little girl inside... Loves to work hard.. Stays alone.."

"Sometimes I'm too worried for her... I told her to move with my family. She can easily stay in my home with my daughter. But she refused every time" he said with a genuine concerned look.

Jungkook smiled and replied, "I'll keep that in mind"

"Such a nice guy you are" he pat jungkook's shoulder.

"Coffee?" Mr. Kim asked.

"I would love that" he replied with a smile.

After a while, Jungkook came back from Mr. kim's cabin and you noticed the fold on his forehead.

'What's the matter?' you thought.

"Jungkook.... are you done talking to him?" you asked as soon as he approached you.

"Yep" he replied changing his facial expression as if he wasn’t thinking about something hard a while ago.

"Here are some job offers" you handed him some paper cuttings that have few columns about requiring workers.

"Choose any one of them" you said quickly before going to serve food on a table.

He noticed how you were smiling with the customers. He knows the smile you're showing is fake but it works.

'She's so nice to everyone. Maybe that's why Mr. Kim is genuinely worried about her' he thought.

He didn’t notice you arrived. He got startled when you asked, "Are you good with animals?"

"I survived with you.... So, I guess so" he replied as if he was checking the paper cuttings seriously while trying best to hold his laugh.

You rolled your eyes at him and pulled out a particular paper saying, "That's great! They need a shopkeeper for their Pet shop"

He noticed the starting salary and yelled in surprise, "300$ per week??"

He was so shocked as he spoke, "I think I found my dream job!"
