These girls were some of the most entertaining people i've ever met.
I got so lucky with finding a ,hopefully, good group of 3 people on my first day. There was Anna, the girl from my earlier class. Avery, which i found out I have majority of my classes with. Mari, who could honestly become a Victoria Secret angel and lastly, me. Which makes us a group of 4 girls.
As i sat down with them talking and making jokes, I suddenly remember the possibility of these girls being popular which not only gives me hope of having a fun experience of school but also stresses me out considering the amount of drama they are constantly in. All my nerves settle when I see a group of 6 girls all walking in sync with the craziest resting bitch faces. Every single one of them.
From the information i've gathered, I've concluded that these might possibly be the ACTUAL. popular girls and my suspicions are proved correct when I see half of the male population swooning over them and what just secured my assumption was the faces of my new found family. Each one of them a different level of disgust.

"Let me guess. Popular and bitchy?" I ask the table with a smile on my face.

And as if this had been repeated a unfathomable amount of times, they reply in unison, "Yes" whilst rolling their eyes.

The bell rings and Avery takes me to my class since we're in the same one. This time I don't talk to the teacher and just sit down next to Avery.

"If Tae comes and asks you to move, just leave it to me okay? unless you're confident enough to argue with him, your choice" Avery explains and shrugs, pouting her lips.

"Every thing I've heard about Tae today has been negative, is he seriously that bad?" I drag out and accentuate the 'that'.

"Maddie he's insufferable. He's a dick to every single person for no reason.... He's sexy though"

I giggle before I feel my desk shift and as if a heavy force had been set on it. I look up to see the one and only Tae I've been hearing such incredible stories about set his heavy ass bag on my desk to deter me from his seat. Now let me tell you, they were not lying about his looks. The man looked like he was sculpted by a gang of Greek Gods. The black wavy hair I saw earlier ,but now I see it from the front, laying loosely with one or two perfect spirals out of place and hanging in front of his eyes. Those dark brown, soulless with no hint of light reflecting off of them. A nose that was just so defined and fit his features and pink lips that any girl would kill to have. His jawline defined, he was any girls dream.

"Up you get, my seat" his voice was soft but stern. He knew what he wanted and I think he was too used to getting it.

"Can't" I answer ,looking back to where I laid my eyes previously, even though Avery was ready to talk to him himself

"And why's that?"

"Not feeling like it" My eyes now meet his

He scoffs but with a smirk on his face, clearly taken aback by the fact that was probably the first time in ages in which someone told him no. "Who even are you?" He asks with a hint of anger in his voice.

"She's new now fuck off, just let her sit here" Avery joins the conversation.

He takes one last look at me and gets a couple centimetres closer and says, "You're lucky you've got a pretty face" before picking up his bag and taking a seat across the other side of the class.

I turn to look at Avery who mirrors my exact facial expression; eyes wide, mouth agape.

"PRETTY FACE?!" Avery whisper shouts and we have a little fangirl moment before coming back to our senses and realising who it was that said it.

Lunch had began and me and Avery practically sprint over to our designated table outside. The bench was under a tree which shades us from the sun and is still a nice place to sit.

We don't even bother to sit down with all the excitement stored up, we simply just hovered over the table.

"YOU'RE NOT GOING TO BELIEVE IT!" Avery and I shout at once.

The girls are instantly interested and indicate for us to proceed.

"Maddie over here had a little bit of a cheeky aggressive exchange of words with Tae-" She giggles and can't finish the story.

"He said I'm lucky I have a pretty face!" I exaggerated a shoulder shrug , smiling.

And the look on the their faces was out of this world. The look of pure disbelief.

"You're chatting shit"Anna says

"I don't think i've ever heard a kind word come out of the man's mouth in the years i've gone to school with him" Mari states eyes wide open the entirety of her sentence.

Me and Avery finally sit down and explain the whole story and just simply converse among ourselves.

Through the whole conversation, Mari had this unreadable expression which i believe is a mixture of sadness and distress.

"Mari, what's up?" I ask her.

"Listen Maddie, We met only today but already I care about you and my advice for you is, don't go for him." She looks up at me, her eyes shining and look of genuine concern reflected in her eyes. "He'll use you for sex and then break your heart"

Listen, I took into consideration everything i've been hearing about him but who doesn't love a good compliment every now and then. I liked his courage. How he came up to my face and said exactly what he's thinking. The fact he's hot also makes the compliment just that little bit better.. and my ego a bit higher.

"Don't worry, I wasn't planning on it" I hold up my palm as if i was telling her to stop, to re assure her nothing is going to happen.

The day ended just as quick as it started. My brother came to pick me up and he wasted no time bombarding me with questions and was pleased to hear I found friends.
We arrive at my house and i go straight up to my room. I like to describe my room as an image of what my mind looks like, what's goes on it. Posters hang up on the walls, dim lighting, plants; some dying, some alive. I find the most comfort in my room.
My bed that has moulded to the shape of me from last night left untouched. I decide to clean up a bit of the mess that was created in the middle of the night. Tissues scattered across my bed and all around it.

I lay in bed waiting to become tired so I can get at least 6 hours of sleep, but one thing is keeping me up.

Tae.

I don't know what it was about him that just was so attractive to me. Was it really the courage or was it that slight feeling of danger I got from talking to him, from looking into those eyes.  I liked the idea of him listening to me and only me. I don't know what it is about it but that feeling of individuality, that feeling of control and power. The feeling that Zeus got when he controlled the wildest of storms.

In my case, my storm was Tae.
