"Julie hurry up the driver will be here in five minutes!" Jaehyun called from the living room.
"I'm coming, I'm coming!" She yelled back.
"Bet you've never heard those words before." Jungwoo teased him.
But before Jaehyun could land the punch he was currently throwing towards him, Julie came out the bedroom.
"How do I look?" She nervously asked them. She wasn't insecure about her body but it's been a while since she had heard an outside view of it.
Jungwoo pushed Jaehyun out of the way and walked over to spin her. "What's 4 + 4?"
"Remind me to limit your tiktok screen time." She laughed.
"Ignore that idiot," It was Jaehyun's turn to push past him. "You look amazing."
"Thank you, Jae." She looked over his outfit.
"You look like a rich CEO in a Kdrama." She laughed at her compliment.
"Well thank you madame." He bowed, gaining another laugh from Julie and a scoff from Jungwoo.
"The driver is outside, let's go party." Jungwoo kicked Jaehyun's bent over butt and grabbed Julie's hand to lead her out to the car.
"JUNGWOO I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Jaehyun ran after them.
On the ride to the party Jaehyun decided to confess his celebrity status. This was kind of his last chance to do so as they were on their way to a SM party filled with hundreds of idols. She was going to find out one way or another and he'd rather it be from him.
"Hey Jules," Jaehyun tried to grab her attention.
"What's up Jae?" She asked.
He shifted in his seat trying to find out which words to use. Eventually he just said what came to mind.
"The party we're going to," He started. "It's for SM Entertainment idols. I'm an Idol."
Her eyebrows furrowed in curiosity, "Like a Kpop Idol or..?"
He nodded his head.
"Hmm." She thought about it before looking over at Jungwoo. "And you're an idol too?"
He also nodded, "And so are the other members that live with us. We're apart of the group NCT 127."
"I see." She nodded.
"Why aren't you freaking about this?" Jaehyun questioned.
She shrugged, "I had a friend who left to become an idol. I've heard it happen first hand so it's not something that feels... fake I guess."
"Really? And here I was thinking I would introduce you to something new." Jaehyun faked a frown.
"Don't worry." She ruffled his hair. "You're still the first to take me to a kpop party. The other guy kind of ghosted me once he made it big."
"Oh so you can ruffle my hair but I can't ruffle yours?" Jaehyun asked.
"Exactly." Julia smiled at him.
"Hypocrite." He joked. "And sorry for the other guy, it's definitely his lost."
"Thanks. I still hope he's doing well out here anyway." She shrugged.
Jaehyun and Jungwoo could tell Julia still cared for her friend. She had a genuine heart and wouldn't want to see anyone fail.
"We have arrived." The driver called from the front seat.
As they stepped out of the car Julie commented on something she noticed. "You know I was beginning to think that getting the same uber driver twice in a row was normal in Korea."
