"Thank you very much." Aqua told Ai while bowing towards her.

After the whole reveal of who Aqua really was there were various different voices that showed concern, shock, disgust and pure unfiltered surprise at the reveal. During the whole thing the only person that had remained calm was Ai who simply asked the boy to talk to her in private.

One magical private room later and here we are, seeing Aqua bowing in front of Ai.

"I'm really sorry that I did not reveal this earlier, I know you must be thinking that I'm absolutely disgusting." Aqua said while looking down at the ground instead of Ai's face. "I know that pretending to be your child is something unfogivable, I've already prepared some savings in order to buy myself an hotel room, I'll be sure to ne-"

Aqua's small speech was cut short when he received something he never expected, a karate chop straight to the head! He was beyond shocked, Ai had never laid a finger on them was the revelation this horrible!?

"I was going willing to listen to you, but after saying that I couldn't hold myself back." Ai said while Aqua rose his gaze to look at her in confusion. "What do you mean pretend to be my child? I didn't change all those diapers for nothing!"

"I-I mean that I'm a man that is twice your age." Aqua said surprised at the answer of the ex-idol.

"Aqua, can I ask you a question?" Ai asked while looking at the boy with squeezed eyes. "Do I look like the girl in that screen?"

"...Is this an hypothetical question?" Aqua asked confused at the question that should be in any shape of it being asked a big yes.

"I'm no longer a sixteen year old girl that got herself pregnant." Ai said while looking at the boy with a harsh expression. "I'm already in my thirties, I'm an adult woman and most important of all I'm your mother. So don't speak to me as if I was as foolish as before."

"Ai..." Aqua started to talk before he was silenced with a single finger.

"Plus, even if you weren't my son. I would still offer you a place under our roof." Ai said unabel to meet the eyes of her own son. "After all, it was because of me that got you killed."

"It wasn't your fault." Aqua said without hesitation.

"No, it is. If I hadn't tried to contact him while in the hospital, maybe you would still be alive and you wouldn't feel guilty about being here." Ai continued to look down on the ground. "Another my selfishness caused. I got you killed, I trapped Jaune in our world and I almost got myself killed and the two of you motherless."

"None of those things are your fault!" Aqua shouted in desperation, he inmediatly began to think of something his dad would tell Ai. "In the first case you were young and just wanted us to have a father, that he was a monster wasn't in your control. In the second case if it wasn't you then he would have been left in a different world and in the third case you..."
