000. introduction
Lilith Jones did not want to live. For as long as the the Jones girl can remember death and tragedy followed her. When she was a little girl her coven got massacred, she survived along with her mother and cousin. While growing up her coven feared her and told her she was something evil. Although she knew she was outcasted in the coven, the loss still hurt her. After the massacre Lilith's mother moved them to Mystic falls, Virginia hoping for a normal life.
At the age of fifteen, another tragedy followed the Jones girl, the death of her cousin Elijah. The night of the decade dance, Lilith and Elijah were heading to an after party that Tyler lockwood was throwing. Elijah wasn't paying attention to the road and a car was coming straight at them, this ended up in a head on collision that he didn't make it out of. Years later, Lilith struggles with survivors guilt. She always wondered why she made it out and he didn't.
Through out the pain and sadness, Lilith found happiness in the people she had in her life. Maverick Westwood her boyfriend since her freshman and his sophomore year. Aurora Forbes, her best friend since she moved to Mystic falls. Along with being best friends With Aurora came her twin sister Caroline and her friends, making them a whole big friend group. Even with all the tragedy Lilith endured, she tried to find good in her life.

my writing is very rusty whoops, hopefully the more i write the less it sucks. but i'm back for now ( hopefully for good). hopefully you guys like the rewrite of this book.
