BF POV
It seems like she looked really happy that I said yes to walking her home. I wonder why she wants me to walk her home though. Maybe because the way to her house is a shady area and she wants someone to be right by her side while walking past there.
Whatever the case is, I'm her friend so I will gladly walk her home. "Should we start going." She asks in a bit of a shy voice. "Oh yeah we should." I say smiling at her. I swear j could've seen her a blush a tiny bit, but that could just be my eyes tricking me. "Hey can I have your phone so I can put directions to my house?" "Sure." I then give her my phone where she proceeds to put in the directions to her house and gives me my phone back after she's done doing it.
I realized that the walk will be a bit less then an hour. Well I'm glad I got nothing to do tonight. "Well we should start walking now. It is almost an hour long walk so yeah." I say. She nods and we start walking.
For the first 3-4 minutes it was pretty silent. I wanted to start a conversation with her, but I didn't know how to actually start it. Then I thought that maybe asking her how her day has been would be a good way to start one.
"Hey Girlfriend. How's your day been?" I say hoping I wasn't being awkward. "Oh it has been great. I really enjoyed the dinner." She replies. "Well I'm glad you enjoyed it."
We continued walking, but I quickly realize the big smile on her face. I don't know why, but when I see her smile I feel something. Like it calms me down a bit and also just makes me feel a certain way towards her. Really anything she does makes me feel something. I've been trying to ignore it ever since we met, but it's just so hard to. But I also don't want to tell her since she might not feel the same way and if she doesn't feel the same way then that could ruin our friendship. I don't want that to happen.
I should probably get to know her for longer before I start thinking of us being together. While I'm thinking about all of this I have a frustrated face and I didn't even notice since I was so deep in thought.
But someone did notice. It was Girlfriend who noticed. She saw how my face looked and quickly understood that something was going on.
Third Person POV
"Boyfriend, you look frustrated. Are you okay?" The girl asked with her being genuinely concerned about him. "Yeah I'm fine. Just thinking about stuff right now." He says while smiling at her. "Okay. By the way my parents now want you to come over to their house and have dinner." The girl looking a bit away hoping he wouldn't mind coming. "Of course I'll come. I'm a big fan of your parents music so it would be awesome to meet them." He says with him actually being really excited to meet them.
Girlfriend was glad that he said yes because she has no idea what her parents would do to him if he said no. Knowing her parents they probably would of send an assassin to kill him. (FNF fans will understand that reference.)
She just hoped that her parents wouldn't weird him out or anything. "So what are your parents like?" The boy asked with him being curious on how her parents acted when they weren't at a convention or something. The girl knew she had to lie about what they really are like. If she told him the truth then who knows what he would do and what could happen because of those actions.
He could die...
And that's something Girlfriend couldn't let her parents do to him EVER.
"Oh they're pretty chill." She says thinking it is believable enough. "Cool, we'll can't wait to meet them." The boys says smiling.
After that most of the walk was mostly quiet. Well until Girlfriend tripped on a rock. She was expecting to hit head first to the ground, but before that could happen Boyfriend was able to catch her. The two looked each other in the eyes and felt their hearts start to beat faster and faster.
They kept just staring at each other for another minute or two till Boyfriend brought her back up. "T-thank you." Girlfriend said while blushing a lot. "Your welcome." Boyfriend said while also blushing a lot. The two looked away from each other for a bit. They both knew they loved the other, but they didn't know if the other liked them back. Both were too scared to confess since they didn't want to ruin their friendship.
"We should get back to walking to your house." Boyfriend said after a couple minutes with both of them now not blushing as much. "Y-yeah we should." Girlfriend said quite embarrassed that she keeps stuttering.
They were 10 minutes away from reaching Girlfriend's house and for the rest of the walk they just talked about whatever they could think about. They eventually go to her house and we're standing right in front the front door. "Thanks for walking me home." Girlfriend said. "No problem." He says smiling at her. "Well I got to get home now. Bye." He said starting to walk away waving. "Bye." She said waving back.
She then entered her house and went straight to her room. Today was amazing.
