As Gillian was on her way to the film studio, thousands of thoughts were swirling around in the her head, but none of them seemed to make any sense. Looking out the uber's window, she saw herself getting closer and closer to the large halls, her heartbeat suddenly accelerating.

It was still a mystery to Gillian what the producer would want to discuss with her, or was Madelyn just simply pulling a prank on her cousin?

Without hesitation, the blonde got out of the uber and started her search for the entrance. It seemed like she was already expected, as a woman with a tablet in her hand waved Gillian over.

"Jonas is anticipating to meet you!" she smiled sweetly before asking the girl to follow her.

Walking through the large corridor, she became increasingly nervous, her eyes darting erratically in search of some sign of what might be going on, but in vain. Shortly after, the woman stopped and pointed at a dark wooden door, nodding in agreement. Gillian shot her a grateful glance and knocked on the door without further hesitation, a friendly voice welcoming her inside.

"Gillian Isabella Cline, right? I'm Jonas Pate. It's a pleasure to meet you!" he introduced himself to the blonde.

"The pleasure is all mine."

"You must be quite surprised by the sudden invitation, but don't worry. Have a seat please." he replied, gesturing towards the chair in front of large table, before taking a seat himself.

"As you may already know from Madelyn, we've started filming Outer Banks a few days ago, and everything was perfect. However, recently we had to part ways with an actress due to misconduct, so we've been seeking for a replacement ever since."

As Gillian attentively listened to the producer, it became increasingly clear to her what this was all about.

"I received a rather interesting recommendation, and I wanted to personally invite you to the casting on Saturday."

"What? M-me? I don't think I'm the right fit for such a big job," the girl stammered, uncertainly muttering to herself.

"Oh, I believe you are. Based on your portfolio you're exactly what I've been looking for. Drew shares my thoughts," he smiled.

"Drew? The recommendation came from him?" she asked, her eyes widening as Jonas nodded.

"That's why it would make me very happy if you attended the casting," he encouraged her before handing her a script.

Nodding, she took the stack of papers as both of them stood up simultaneously and saying goodbye to each other.

Stepping out of the hall again, Gillian clutched the script, while her brain tried to process what had just happened. After organizing her thoughts a bit, she immediately reached for her smartphone to text Camila.
