《Please comment so i know if i should keep writing》
Saide had finished her dinner and told her family she was going to get a milkshake and she wouldnt be long. She left the house in a white blouse,denim shorts and white pumps and skipped to the centre of town in the summer heat.
The blue point diner was empty except from one couple and as Saide leaned against the counter looking through the milkshake menu she settled on her favourite. "Hey Brenda,ill have the sunday strawberry dream" she told the waitress she had got to know over the years , "sure thing babe" Brenda replied. "Hows Grace,she wasnt in here today?". That was odd Grace always came to the blue point diner because one of her friends worked there and she loved their pancakes. Saide then thought back to her mothers strange appearance when she came home before and eventhough things didnt add up she just remembered that it wasnt her business. "Shes fine,she was probably just with other friends" Saide said trying to reasure Brenda and Herself.
"Hey" Saide heard from behind her,she twisted in her stool and saw Eyeball infront of her panting. "Richy baby, are you stalking me" she said humerously. Richard smiled and sat on the stool next to her quite nervously. "Hows your mom?" Eyeball blurted out. "Oh my god,why does everyone keep asking that,do people know something i dont know?" Saide questioned Eyeball. Startled,eyeball began to blush and his palms started to sweat. "No no i just wanted to know how youre family was" he said still abit nervous. "Oh well theyre fine, Dads doing nightshifts all next week so i wont see him that much but were fine". "Aleast your dad works" eyeball said and then he realised he had found something he could finanly talk about,how useless his dad was. "Yeah true,how are you and your dad doing?" Said asked , "not good,hes an asshole,he doesnt drink that much but hes always out,mom cries all the time", "im sorry" Saide whispered and reached over to stroke his arm. There was a moment of silence and eyeball opened his mouth to speak but Brenda came right at that moment with her milkshake"there you go doll" . Saide gave her a smile and sucked on the straw. "Listen we dont have to speak about your dad, are you gonna get something to eat?" , "uhh yeah can i get a double cheese burger with everything on it,extra large fries,two cherry pies and a cola" , "sure sweetie" Brenda said as she wrote it all down. Saide laughed and looked at eyeball and he gave her a cheeky smile back "wow" she said still giggling at his large order. She then took her milkshake and eyeballs hand in the other and walked him over too a booth.
The two of them talked for an hour. They first talked about eyeballs mother and family stuff. They then talked about the Cobras and eyeball had some funny stories that he wasnt supposed to tell her but he did and Saide ended up laughing uncontrollably. Saide talked about her claases while eyeball admired how smart she was and how soft her lips looked. Saide asked about his future and he talked about dealing with cars and being a mechanic and saide loved how much he talked about it,she didnt realise he had any interests or talent at all. It had turned dark and Saide realised she had to go home. There was a problem though,she didnt want to go,she wanted to stay and chat to Richard about anything. "Well i think i should go","oh yeah,umm,ill walk you home if you want,because its dark,but if you dont want me to-","no that would be nice,thanks". Eyeball was beyond happy,he couldnt seem to stop smiling and when Saides back was turned he did a little dance that he hoped no one saw.
Their walk home was just as good as their chat in the diner. It just seemed to flow naturally ,once eyeball stopped focusing on every word he said he realised he could just speak to her normally. "Its actually fun , you get a baseball bat and just swing and if you hit it all the way off you get a point" , "but its someones mail box,thats just annoying for them" , "yeah i know,it wasnt my idea,i just drive,but if you ever feel stressed just come to me and you can sit shotgun and have a go" he laughed while Saide gave him a look to say 'as if'. "Hey ace normally sits shotgun,but for you he can be at the back" this made Saide smile because she knew that was a big compliment from him and she liked his flirty side. "Thanks richy baby,thanks for the walk,youre very sweet" Saide said as they were stood at the end of her garden path. "No problem,any time" he said looking down at her feeling the urge to kiss her so badly. Saide gave him a wave as she turned around and went inside her house. "I love you" eyeball whispered very quietly as he still stood staring at her front door. He then turned around and headed back to Irbys bar with a spring in his step and a big smile on his face.
A few hours later Saide was lay in bed thinking about her day. She missed Richard. She actually missed him,she wanted to be with him right now talking to him ,hearing his voice listening to his stories. Seeing his cheeky smile. OH MY GOD what was happening!
