As long as Oikawa can remember due to his old age he has always loved to stray around in the fields alongside his loyal knight Iwaizumi. Unlike him Iwaizumi wasn't a pure blood demon, his fangs were quite small and he had no horns or claws like his king but Oikawa knew that his knight would always be his first choice if he had to choose a warrior.

A few years ago he had turned his human childhood friend into an immortal beast, he just couldn't just stay at his side, watching him wither and one day in about sixty years die. Originally he had accepted Iwaizumis wish to stay mortal until his knight was deathly injured. He was brought into the castle alongside other knights. Oikawa ran to his side, Iwaizumi's soul slowly leaving his body, the demon king sliced his own arms open, pressing the wound to Iwaizumis mouth, letting him drink until life returned to him.

Iwaizumi had changed, of course he did, he needed to come to terms with his immortality, an ability he never wanted to possess.

„Hey, Shittykawa, if you keep ignoring me then you better not be complaining about having to go to bed without dinner", snarled Iwaizumi.

„Oh Iwa-chan, my dear, I'm the king, if I wanted food at 3 in the morning I will have food at 3 in the morning", Oikawa laughed, „However if you are hungry I will gladly order  very dish you like. Or you could have me, if you're that kind of hungry."

„You're a pervert", Iwaizumi hufffed, unable to surpress a smile, „Maybe later, I make you scream so much, you'll be unable to hold your speech tomorrow."

„Ehe, right, my speech, boring king thingies, at least I can wear fancy clothes and admire you in your armor", Oikawa strechted, chuckled at Iwaizumi's blushing face.

His blush faded away the second he drew his sword: „Stay back, I think I heard something!"

„Oh really", Oikawa rolled his eyes, „My ears are better than yours, little demon fledgling."

„But you're not observing our surroundings, so listen to me", Iwaizumi sneaked forwards a bush, hearing a rustling sound. He pointed a sword at the bush, pushing the leaves to the side, he went into the bush, lifting a small demon, grabbing him in the neck.

Oikawa rushed to Iwaizumi's side, inspecting the little thing, it was covered in grim, leaves in his long matted hair, frozen in Iwaizumi's hand.

„Let him down, you're scaring him", Iwaizumi shook his head, „Well then, bring him to the castle without hurting further. There we will examine him further."

Iwaizumi groaned but followed his king: „Why in the world would you take a child in? Why!"

Oikawa stopped, turned to his knight: „Because I'm the king and if a child is lost in the woods, being in such a gruesome state it is of course my duty to take them with me and find out what happened."

„Alright, alright, let us hurry then", Iwaizumi picked up his pace, rushing towards the castle.

Oikawa chuckled, awaiting his lover at the entrance: „Don't strain yourself, babygirl, you're still so young."

Iwaizumi turned away, face heating with embarrassment: „Where do you want me to put him?"

„Give him to one of the maids, someone like, yeah, Hanamaki", Oikawa waved his hand, „Make sure to come to me instantly after you delivered the child."

Iwaizumi sighed, he understood Oikawa's reasons to turn him but he still needed to adjust to how dependant he was on his lover.

Oikawa pressed his lips against Iwaizumi's head, sniffed: „Don't burden your pretty little head, by the way, I think we both need a bath after touching the little gremlin."
